After filming just outside of Toronto last Summer, MY FAKE BOYFRIEND finally is ready to surface! Starring Sarah Hyland, Dylan Sprouse and Keiynan Lonsdale, this Rom-Com has something to say!

Synopsis

Andrew (Keiynan Lonsdale) has a major problem: He can’t stay away from the toxic boyfriend who just dumped him. His meddling friends (Dylan Sprouse and Sarah Hyland) decide to help him by creating “Cristiano,” a perfect fake boyfriend on social media. Problem solved, right? Wrong! As Cristiano goes viral and becomes a worldwide sensation, Andrew meets his real-life dream guy, Rafi, a charming restaurant owner. Now, Andrew must find a way to put an end to the fake fling, evade his jealous ex, and win Rafi’s heart in this fun and hilarious comedy about the crazy things we do for love.

#SPOTTED: KEIYNAN LONSDALE IN HAMILTON AND BURLINGTON FILMING “MY FAKE BOYFRIEND”

Australian Actor-Singer-Dancer Keiynan Lonsdale can do it all and he’s back in town working on something exciting and new! The star of hits The Divergent Series, The Flash, Love, Simon and Work It, is here filming Lionsgate & BuzzFeed (yes, they’re making films now!) Feature, MY FAKE BOYFRIEND. The Film is an inclusive love story which centers on Lonsdale‘s character who teams with their best friend (Dylan Sprouse) to create a fake boyfriend on Social Media to keep the former’s ex out of their life! We’re on-board with this!

The Film quietly has been filming in and around Hamilton and Burlington, and is set to wrap at some point next week! The Comedy also stars Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland, with both she and Sprouse already having wrapped, as Lonsdale completes filming around town. Sprouse has been spotted around Hamilton’s Hess Village with his partner, Model Barbara Palvin. The two will be promoting Sprouse’s wine in Bulgaria next week.

We were so happy to get to meet Lonsdale, who just filmed Work It here a couple Summers ago. And we loved that Film (see it on Netflix if you haven’t yet!). He has been working hard promoting his Music, just releasing a new Video for his Track, Rhythm & Music. Awesome to see him experimenting with different personas and having fun with it! And those dance moves. OMG.

He was looking amazing all in white, hanging with his Entourage between filming and was so kind to come over to say “hi”, graciously interacting with us and asking beanie‘s name.

We’ve been wondering about this one! Filmed in Toronto last spring, we’ve pumped finally to see a Trailer for dance flick WORK IT starring Sabrina Carpenter!

Synopsis:

When Quinn Ackerman’s admission to the college of her dreams depends on her performance at a dance competition, she forms a ragtag group of dancers to take on the best squad in school…now she just needs to learn how to dance. Starring Sabrina Carpenter, Liza Koshy, Keiynan Lonsdale, Drew Ray Tanner, with Michelle Buteau and Jordan Fisher.
