Frank Walker is my worlds – Horse Racing and Entertainment – converging, but most of all, he is a talented Producer and DJ who quickly is seeing a boost in profile, his Music enabling him the ability to trot the globe. The grandson of Magna International founder and Horse Racing powerhouse Frank Stronach, and son of Belinda Stronach and Donald Walker, could have taken a very different path in life as a successor in his family’s business operations, but thankfully he followed his heart and chose Music.
Walker today debuted his new single, “I GO DANCING (ft. Ella Henderson)“. The melodic Dance Bop is a nod to the Electronic Music he loved, growing-up in the early 2010s and one of his biggest influences is Kygo, whom he is set to tour with. The Song is a result of many WhatsApp messages back and forth, both being Artists being on different sides of the Atlantic.
Signed to Sony Music Canada, you actually already know his Music. Trust me. His “Heartbreak Back (ft. Riley Biederer)” still today is played heavily on Top 40 Radio, along with his Juno-nominated “Only When it Rains (ft. Astrid S)”.
Walker played a packed house at ToyBox, his first Toronto show in three years, timed together with the release of his new single. As a warm-up, he played a live set at Z103.5‘s studio, debuting his track to listeners and getting a unanimous vote of 94% from listeners in favour of the tune being added to the station’s rotation.
This was actually my first time ever meeting Walker, or I may have met him and didn’t even know it, though I have met his family and visited the family’s scenic Adena North property many times. A class act, just like his wonderful family and team who work for them!
So excited for him. His success hasn’t been overnight, he has been working for this a long time!

18-year-old singing sensation Ella Henderson made huge waves internationally in 2012 with a stunning cover of Cher‘s Believe, which had even the timeless Diva herself taking to Twitter to endorse the then-Contestant on The X Factor UK.
The buzz continued to build with the likes of Adele, Lily Allen and Stephen Fry professing their love for her and although ultimately jaws dropped when she didn’t win, Henderson gets the final say topping the charts with Ryan Tedder-penned Ghost, her debut Single. Her debut Disc Chapter One also would see similar success and now the vintage fashion-obsessed Songstress has her sights set stateside where she continues to gain airplay.
Henderson made a rare visit to Toronto today after a visit for Press in New York earlier this week. Although she was under the weather, she still did interviews at Rogers’ Headquarters including a sit-down on The Erin & Mike Show at CHFI. Unfortunately, a scheduled live performance on-air had to be withdrawn as she battles illness.
The lovely Henderson and I had a friendly exchange, her Publicist kind enough to introduce us. After seeing little Billy, her face lit up saying, “Oh! He looks so much like Trixie!”, referring to her own Shih-Poo back home.
If you haven’t yet experienced the phenomenal vocals of Henderson, you may do so by enjoying her new Single Ghost below:

She’s been writing songs since she was 13 and was inspired to sing by her Grandpa Bill. Incredibly-talented 16-year-old Ella Henderson, a Contestant on The X Factor UK, has wowed Judges repeatedly on back-to-back appearances on the Reality Series – recently with an original Tune she wrote and now this mind-blowing Ballad Version of Cher‘s Believe.
Judge Nicole Scherzinger absolutely cannot stop crying and bit-o-grump Gary Barlow admits he’d pay lots of money to see her perform the Song live again. There is something remarkably Adele-esque about Henderson. Definitely one to keep an eye on; Scouts over at 19 Management/Syco/Sony Music would be throwing away a huge opportunity not consider developing her regardless of her future on the Series.
Although we know how Scherzinger and Barlow feel, no other Critique matters as much as that of Cher herself. See what the Legend herself had to say about Henderson:
