#SPOTTED: MET GALA 2026 AND BROADWAY HIGHLIGHTS

We never waste a minute in New York City! beanie and I had again for Met Gala festivities this past weekend, and as always we had the best time! The Gala’s theme theme this year was “Fashion is Art,” focusing on using clothing as expression rather than utility. The 2026 Met Gala co-chairs were Beyoncé, Venus Williams, Nicole Kidman, and Anna Wintour, and the costumes this year were once again phenomenal with many of them paying tribute to paintings and sculptures.

While we only got to see a handful in-person, we were floored, with many notables gracing us with their presence including: Lisa from Blackpink, Sarah Pidgeon, Paul Anthony Kelly, EJae, Cardi B, Alysa Liu, Alex Consani, Chase Infiniti, Elizabeth Debicki, Laufey, Camilla Morrone, Camila Mendes, Tyriq Withers, and several more.

Earlier in the weekend, we got our fill of some of the amazing talent including double Oscar winner Adrien Brody, Tessa Thompson, Jon Bernthal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Maya Rudolph, Alden Ehrenreich, Whitney Leavitt, and more currently on Broadway!




… and of course, the Cast of iconic SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!

We even spotted the two stars of red-hot HEATED RIVALRY, Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams. Thrilled to see how far they’ve come in such a short time!



… and of course some of the amazing food and drink… including a little Flushing (Asian food mecca) Food Tour and the most-buzzed pizza place, CERES, where we celebrated out milestone of 10k IG followers!




beanie and I are so grateful for our BOOKING.COM Genius-level 3 loyalty perks! We stayed at the amazing and pet-friendly Westhouse Hotel. The moment you step in, you feel the history and importance of this hotel, which continues to upgrade and modernize. The hotel staff were attentive and courteous, also helping hold our deliveries (online shopping is a lifesaver, there just isn’t enough time to visit everything!).

At Genius level 3, not only do we get a 10-20% discount on our room, we also got a free upgrade to a Deluxe King Room. We loved our view of the City so much and the room was spacious and clean – a gold standard in value and comfort.

Above this, Westhouse Hotel also has a breakfast buffet for all guests on the Terrace, and also Happy Hour snacks. Their gym also is open 24 hours. Such an exceptional stay and we’d definitely stay again. We were a quick walk from Central Park, all the Broadway shows and Met Gala festivities!


And of course a special thanks to Tickless Canada for her amazing Tickless Mini, a cute, chemical-free way to keep beanie free of ticks and fleas no matter where she goes!
