The timeless beauty that is Jane Fonda has graced our City once again after multiple visits to Toronto in recent years. The two-time Oscar Winner is in town for Sunday’s March for Jobs, Justice and the Climate. The walk beginning at Queen’s Park, which will see names like David Suzuki and Joel Plaskett supporting the cause as 100 groups representing hundreds of thousands of Canadians joining together as a Coalition. Fonda and Plaskett were inspired to join the cause after reading Naomi Klein‘s book, This Changes Everything.
By total coincidence we spotted Fonda with her grandson Malcolm and the two appear to be spending quality time together in the City, including a quiet, security-escorted Ramen Stop in the evening. This actually is our second time meeting the notoriously-private Screen Legend known for Classics like Barbarella, On Golden Pond, 9 to 5 , Coming Home, Klute and more recently the Netflix Hit Series Grace & Frankie – and she is just as kind and personable as we remembered her. She looks phenomenal, doesn’t she?
Fonda was last in Toronto last Fall for TIFF ’14, supporting This is Where I Leave You, in which she stars alongside Tina Fey.
