THE ODYSSEY is in second with $14.6 million for Universal Pictures, bringing its seven week run to $564 million for Universal Pictures.
Third is the film that fans saved, COYOTE vs. ACME, opening with with $14 million, from 3,575 theatres for VVS Films/Ketch. It gets a stellar 95% on the Tomatometer. Review here.
INSIDIOUS: OUT OF THE FURTHER gets $9.3 million for Sony Pictures, bringing it to $42.8 million for Sony Pictures.
DOG STARS rounds things out with $8 million, from 3,330 theatres for 20th Century Studios.
