In commemoration of Veterans Day and Remembrance Day here in Canada tomorrow, Sony Pictures will be inviting military personnel and veterans to see critically and commercially-successful World War II Drama, FURY. To be granted free admission, proper military identification will need to be provided upon theatre admission for the David Ayer Film, which stars Brad Pitt.
Ron Bruer, Sony Pictures Entertainment President says, “We’ve heard from so many veterans that they feel that Fury truly speaks to their experience in wartime, so, on a day when we all want to find ways to give back to the men and women who serve, we’re thrilled to be giving free admission to the film to veterans and active personnel tomorrow.”.
Official Synopsis:
April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. Written and directed by David Ayer, the Film is produced by Bill Block, David Ayer, Ethan Smith and John Lesher.
