It’s two weeks of Tay-Tay! TAYLOR SWIFT: THE ERAS TOUR takes the top spot once again at the Box Office with $32 million from 3,855 theatres for AMC/Cineplex Pictures. Because the experience is primarily playing during the weekend, its two week total is boosted to $130.7 million.
Debuting in second spot is KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON with $22 million from 3,628 theatres for Paramount Pictures/Apple Original Films. This would be Martin Scorsese’s widest opening ever for a film, and he is still in fine form, garnering 92% on the Tomatometer from Critics.
PAW PATROL: THE MIGHTY MOVIE is in third with $5.6 million from 3,364 theatres for Paramount Pictures/Elevation Pictures, a total run of $56.7 million.
Fourth is TIM BURTON’S A NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, re-released to 1,650 theatres by Disney to the tune of $4.3 million, adding to the 1993 classic’s $91.5 million worldwide gross to date.
THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER is hanging-on in fifth spot with $3.9 million, a domestic tally of $52.6 million for Universal Pictures.
