Child services arrive to find the house empty, and come to the conclusion a bereaved and mentally unstable Hec has abducted Ricky. A national manhunt ensues, and the two have to get over their differences to survive.

#PRODUCTWATCH: TEST-DRIVING THE 2016 ACURA ILX
It’s sleek. It’s sexy. It glides smooth like silk. The 2016 Acura ILX certainly is a highlight among the many cars I’ve test-driven in recent years. It is one of those rare instances where performance meets style meets value and to be honest, I could see myself driving a beauty like this in the long-term.
With its 2.4-litre, 16-valve, Direct Injection DOHC, i-VTEC® 4-cylinder engine, the ILX operates at 201 hp @ 6800 rpm and torque at 180 lb.-ft. @ 3600 rpm. In terms of fuel efficiency, it uses 9.4/6.8/8.2 litres/100 km. Three days of city and highway driving used approximately $25.00 CAN.
Although it sits lower than what we’re used to, it didn’t take long to get acclimated and its seats are highly adjustable, although keeping the speedometer behind the steering wheel in line of sight while requires a fine balance between sitting in comfort and safety.
Let’s talk the fun stuff. I love the tinted moonroof which brightens, while glare-conscious. The touch screen entertainment system was superb with an option for Sirius XM. What I love is that there is a rewind option if you need to listen to something again. The ILX comes with six speakers. Connecting to Bluetooth and audio content on my Android still remains a bit of a challenge. Stay connected and charged also with a USB port under the arm rest.

#BOXOFFICE: “FINDING DORY” FINDS ITS WAY TO THE TOP AGAIN!
FINDING DORY finds itself on-top again a second week, with a whopping $74.5 million from 4,305 theatres in its second weekend, undoubtedly accounted for by families who couldn’t get in to see it last week. It already has made $278 million in two weeks only for Disney!
INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURRECTION certainly isn’t shamed, debuting in second with a stellar $45 million for 20th Century Fox in 4,068 theatres across North America. Critics gave it 34% on the Tomatometer, Audiences gave it a B CinemaScore.
CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE slips to third this weekend with $18.2 million for Warner Bros., a two week tally of $69.1 million.
THE SHALLOWS debuts in fourth for Sony Pictures with $17 million from 2,962 theatres. Critics gave it a solid 75% on the Tomatometer, while Audiences gave it a B+ CinemaScore.
FREE STATE OF JONES opens in fifth for Elevation Pictures/STX Entertainment with $7.7 million. It earns a 41% on the Tomatometer and an A- CinemaScore.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES rounds-out to Top Ten with $2.2 million this weekend, now in its fourth week out for Paramount Pictures, earning $76.9 million in its run.

#SPOTTED: DANIEL FRANZESE IN TORONTO FOR SPECIAL PRIDE SCREENING OF “MEAN GIRLS”
Few films in the new millennium have had as great a cultural impact on a generation as 2004’s Mean Girls. Directed by Mark Waters, Tina Fey‘s adaptation of the book Queen Bees and Wannabes, would go on to both Box Office success and cult hit status, making bona fide movie stars out of Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lizzy Caplan, Amy Poehler and Fey herself.
Shot right here in Toronto, it is only appropriate that TIFF and Pride Toronto team-up to celebrate on a Wednesday, where the audience just like the girls in the Movie, are to wear pink only!
Reunited tonight for the special screening at Harbourfront Centre (along with a live stream on the Internet) were cast members Rajiv Surendra (Kevin Gnapoor), Olympia Lukis (Jessica Lopez), Ky Pham (Trang Pak), Daniel DeSanto (Jason) and of course Daniel Franzese (Damian). Lindsay Lohan even joined-in for a chat with her cast mates via a live chat.
Franzese (pronounced “fran-zay-see”), who was front and center, has found much success of late starring on HBO series LOOKING, which after ending prematurely, sees new life in Movie-form late July on the network.
Timed perfectly for Pride, the theme of exclusion in the Film and one of its several catch phrases, “You can’t sit with us”, got flipped right around with the evening’s tagline being “You can sit with us”.
The Cast who stayed past 11 PM, were so nice after the screening to pose for photos with fans who were lined-up in an orderly fashion. The CN Tower lit a rainbow, was just the perfect backdrop.

#SPOTTED: STARS IN TORONTO FOR THE 2016 iHEARTRADIO MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS
It was a star-studded night in Toronto as the 2016 iHeartRadio MuchMusic Video Awards took place at Bell Media‘s Queen Street Headquarters! The annual staple since 1990 for the first time ever partnered with iHeartRadio, which gives music lovers a free option to listen to radio stations and music online, shutting down a section of fashionable Queen Street for the night, always promising to be a flashy spectacle. Hosting this year was Supermodel Gigi Hadid, whom last year attended as a guest.
Others presenting and performing include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Hailee Steinfeld, Hedley, Hailey Baldwin, Nick Jonas, Tyler Posey, Lucy Hale, Alessia Cara, Ashley Benson, Amber Rose, Mariana’s Trench, Shay Mitchell, Shemar Moore, Fifth Harmony, Shawn Mendes, Coleman Hell, Lily Singh, Ruth B. and several more.
Winning top honours tonight were Fifth Harmony, who won the Fan Fave International Award. Video of the Year went to Toronto’s own Drake for Hotline Bling. Best Pop Video also went to Camila Cabello (Fifth Harmony) and Pickering’s Shawn Mendes’ I Know What You Did Last Summer. International Duo went to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis who treked-in while on tour.

#HORSERACING: FAVORITE “BETTING LINE” THRILLS FANS WITH A WIN IN THE 2016 PEPSI NORTH AMERICA CUP
The Pepsi North America Cup, now in its 33rd year, took place at Mohawk Racetrack in Campbellville, Ontario tonight with a thrilling late drive by the favoured BETTING LINE, driven by Dave Miller, to win the race in record-tying fashion. The time of the race was 1:47.4, a Canadian and Track Record. The $1-million marquee race is for three-year-old horses, the best of both north and south the border, squaring-off for riches and glory! The victory pushed the colt’s earnings past the $1.1 million-mark for owners West Wins Stable of Cambridge, Christine Calhoun, of Chatham, and Mac Nichol, of Burlington. His trainer is Casie Coleman, who won the race a second time.
The star-studded night of racing as always draws a huge crowd, filling the oval’s grandstand from side to side. A real sense of community. Live Country Music Acts like Alee and Andrew Hyatt graced the stages, while guests queued the food trucks with offerings like Corn-on-the-Cob, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Fish Tacos, Key Lime Pie in a Jar and of course, #1-rated Silver Bullet BBQ Ribs! We tried the latter two and they were ALL THAT!
NHL players and brothers Brett and Nick Ritchie made an appearance also, bringing their friends and family out for the fun!
The Evening’s signature cocktail was the Summer Night, a refreshing iced tea and lemon-based vodka drink sold in commemorative mason jar mugs.
Free Baseball Caps donning the marquee race logo were handed-out to guests, along with free first bets. Chances to win a $50 Gift Card for Mohawk were up for grabs. One winner tonight, Fred Di Sero, only wanted to go to the North America Cup with his family for Father’s Day, but wound-up a huge winner, winning a $1,000 bet which he placed correctly on BETTING LINE!
The evening was hosted by Sports Personality Monika Platek, while familiar faces Dawn Lupul and Jason Portuondo appeared on the live TSN broadcast of the North America Cup!

#BOXOFFICE: “FINDING DORY” MAKES A HUGE SPLASH IN OPENING
Disney‘s makes a huge splash with FINDING DORY this weekend, debuting with an all-time record for an opening of an Animated Festure with $140 million from 4,305 theatres! After incubating for several years, this Sequel to 2003’s Finding Nemo does it right, striking a chord with Critics, who gave it a 95% on the Tomatometer and an A CinemaScore from Audiences. By contrast, its Predecessor made $70 million in its opening.
CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE opens big in second with $33 million for Warner Bros. in 3,508 theatres. The Comedy starring Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gets a 65% on the Tomatometer, while Audiences gave it a promising A- CinemaScore.
Last week’s champ THE CONJURING 2 slips to third in the wake of stiff competition, but still earns $16 million in its second week out, a total $72.2 million thus far domestically. Not bad for a Horror!
NOW YOU SEE ME 2 is in fourth with $10 million, a total of $41.7 million over two weeks for eOne Films/Lionsgate Films.
WARCRAFT slips to fifth spot for Universal Pictures with $7 million in its second week out.
Rounding out the Top Ten is CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR with $2.2 million in its seventh week for Disney, just surpassing $400 million in North America.
#SPOTTED: ANNA CAMP + SKYLAR ASTIN IN TORONTO FOR NXNE
As an absolute surprise, stars Skylar Astin (21 & Over, Graves) and Anna Camp (True Blood, Mad Men) are in the City for the NXNE Festival, last night judging an Acapella contest at Yonge-Dundas Square. The real-life couple who both star in the Pitch Perfect franchise together both are working on their own endeavours right now. Astin just released the single Call My Name, on which he provided guest vocals for Phantoms. Camp meanwhile is in Califorinia filming Good Girls Revolt, a new series.
It is said that Camp has family here and the soon-to-be-married couple were to spend some time with them.

#SPOTTED: CHAD COLEMAN IN TORONTO FILMING “THE EXPANSE”
Chad Coleman‘s star has risen quickly in recent years thanks to a phenomenal turn as Tyreese on AMC’s The Walking Dead! Since then he has appeared on History‘s adapted mini-series Roots and now he is in Toronto filming SyFy‘s The Expanse.
The Actor was in Toronto last year meeting fans at Fan Expo and has been spotted around town including taking in a baseball game!
Coleman, who by the way once served in the army, had a bit of spare time today and appeared on Breakfast Television, promoting his recent work and also his line of The Walking Dead character T-Shirts and merchandise available online at A God Amongst.
