THE GENTLEMEN is coming to Netflix March 7, 2024. This new Series from Guy Ritchie sees Eddie Horniman (Theo James) unexpectedly inheriting his father’s sizable country estate – only to discover it’s part of a cannabis empire. Moreover, a host of unsavory characters from Britain’s criminal underworld want a piece of the operation. Determined to extricate his family from their clutches, Eddie tries to play the gangsters at their own game. However, as he gets sucked into the world of criminality, he begins to find a taste for it.
The series is set in the world of The Gentlemen film, with a whole new cast, combining Hollywood talent and British film and TV legends. The series offers depth into this criminal world and a new story to get stuck into.
THE GENTLEMEN stars:
THEO JAMES as EDDIE HORNIMAN “The Duke”
Eddie is the second son of the Duke of Halstead, and as such, never expected to inherit a thing. That’s why he created a life for himself, excelling at Sandhurst and achieving the rank of Captain in the British Army. But when his father suddenly dies, stipulating in the will that his title and the accompanying 15,000 acres of land will go to his second rather than firstborn son, Eddie’s life makes a fundamental pivot. It’s a role he never wanted, and perhaps believed wasn’t within him, but gradually Eddie will find himself increasingly comfortable in his father’s shoes. As Eddie contends with the unexpected criminal responsibilities which come with owning this English country estate, his character will be tested like never before.
KAYA SCODELARIO as SUSIE GLASS “The Boss”
Effortlessly stylish, sardonic, and inheriting her fair share of Bobby Glass’ steeliness, Susie oversees her father’s criminal organisation on his behalf. Susie is something of a chameleon, from inner-city boxing gyms to high-society galas, there are few places she can’t seamlessly fit in. Susie uses a combination of sophistication and sophistry to iron out the usual kinks which occur in the running of Bobby’s business, but when Eddie starts making problems for her early on, she finds her patience quickly wearing thin. Susie slowly begins to see the rationale for her father’s interest in this enterprising young man, as her and Eddie’s relationship and rapport develop across the series. However, when the Glass empire comes under increasing pressure, Susie is clear where her ultimate priorities lie.
DANIEL INGS as FREDDY HORNIMAN “The Liability”
Freddy always knew he was the heir to the Halstead estate, which is why he never succeeded at anything. His life to-date has been an inconsequential stream of parties, drug-taking and embarrassing business misadventures. He is the Anti-Midas, everything he touches turns to dust and debt. When he discovers that his inheritance has been passed over to his younger brother, a fissure erupts within Freddy which no amount of cocaine can fill. Freddy is bereft of purpose and leans even harder into his impulsiveness and reactivity. But when the criminal elements at Halstead begin to infiltrate the lives of the Hornimans, a creative spark begins to flicker within Freddy: this might just be the making of him.
VINNIE JONES as GEOFF SEACOMBE “The Gamekeeper”
Geoff is the gamekeeper of Halstead Manor. He knows every inch of the estate and cares deeply for the land, as well as the assortment creatures that roam upon it. Stoic, stolid and unswervingly loyal to the Hornimans, Geoff takes a certain pride in knowing his exact place within society’s structure and is ever respectful of the line between family and staff. There is a quiet sorrow to Geoff, owing to a secret he has kept for many years, nevertheless, as Eddie learns to deal with the illicit activity on the Halstead grounds, Geoff will make himself available as an ever-present rock to the new Duke. A repository of sage wisdom and sloe gin is always to be found within the gamekeeper’s cottage.
JOELY RICHARDSON as LADY SABRINA “The Matriarch”
Sabrina Horniman, Eddie’s mother, is the Dowager Duchess of Halstead. Upstanding and honest, she exudes a chilly maternal gentility. Though she may present as a part of the typical horse-riding country set, this is a front for a more salacious past, and a caustic sense of humour. Often the smartest person in the room, but with very little need to prove it, Sabrina becomes increasingly concerned for the danger Eddie encounters as he tangles with the particulars of the criminal world. Though we sense that there are parts of Sabrina’s life of which her family are not yet aware, Sabrina is resolute in supporting all her children with a discretion learnt from years by the side of their father.
GIANCARLO ESPOSITO as UNCLE STAN “The American”
An extravagantly wealthy American, Stanley Johnston A.K.A Uncle Stan, is not your archetypal dealer and distributor of methamphetamines. Uncle Stan is obsessed with the history, iconography, and architecture of the British aristocracy. He retains a manservant, socialises with a minor European royal, and practically lives in the most exclusive gentlemen’s club in London. Stan’s fascination with all things posh might go some way to explaining his tailored interest in the new Duke of Halstead, but there are those who suspect Stan’s attack may be two-pronged: with his true goal set on securing Bobby Glass’ substantial market share.

He’s a stuntman, and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights, all for our entertainment. And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right? In theatres May 2, 2024.
From real life stunt man and director David Leitch, the blockbuster director of Bullet Train, Deadpool 2, Atomic Blonde and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and the producer of John Wick, Nobody and Violent Night, comes his most personal film yet. A new hilarious, hard-driving, all-star apex-action thriller and love letter to action movies and the hard-working and under-appreciated crew of people who make them: The Fall Guy.
Oscar® nominee Ryan Gosling (Barbie, La La Land, Drive) stars as Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business a year earlier to focus on both his physical and mental health, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie—being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno, played by Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt (Oppenheimer, A Quiet Place films, Sicario)—goes missing.
While the film’s ruthless producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham; Ted Lasso), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson; Bullet Train) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
Inspired by the hit 1980s TV series, The Fall Guy also stars Winston Duke (Black Panther franchise) and Academy Award® nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once).
From a screenplay by Hobbs & Shaw screenwriter Drew Pearce, The Fall Guy is produced by Kelly McCormick (Bullet Train, Nobody, Atomic Blonde) and David Leitch for their company 87North, and by Ryan Gosling and by Guymon Casady (Game of Thrones, Steve Jobs and executive producer of the upcoming series Ripley) for Entertainment 360. The film is executive produced by Drew Pearce, Entertainment 360’s Geoff Shaevitz and the creator of the original Fall Guy television series, Glen A. Larson.

Today, global superstar Gwen Stefani reunites with fellow music icon and frequent collaborator, Blake Shelton for the dynamic new single “Purple Irises.“ Introspective and nostalgic, the enduring anthem explores how time tests — and often strengthens — the bonds we share. “Purple Irises” was produced by award-winning producer Scott Hendricks and recorded in Nashville, TN at Smoakstack Studios. “Purple Irises” comes just days before Stefani brings her unique magic to Super Bowl weekend with a performance at the Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate before the big matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs on February 11, 2024 in Las Vegas. Shelton will join Stefani at Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate for a debut performance of “Purple Irises.”
“Purple Irises” is available now at all digital retailers. Listen HERE.
“Purple Irises is a song that comes from the idea that when you plant something you are planting hope and watching love grow,” says Stefani. “Weathering all the different seasons of growth. We are in this together, we planted the seeds together and we are growing together.”
Stefani’s iconic catalog is filled with insight and vulnerability, but she raises the bar here by capturing time-tested love with unfiltered affection and raw honesty. It doesn’t hurt that she has palpable creative chemistry with real-life partner Shelton. They have previously shared the mic on the platinum hits “Nobody But You” and “Happy Anywhere,” both of which topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.
“We love this song so much,” said Shelton. “It’s a song Gwen wrote with a couple of friends of hers, and I fell in love with it the first time I heard it. She knew there was something different about it and asked me to come in and sing with her. My longtime producer, Scott Hendricks, produced it, and Gwen’s been wanting to work with him for a long time now, and it’s turned into this really cool and different song that can live anywhere.”
Throughout her career, Stefani’s versatility — as showcased on recent offerings such as 2023’s “True Babe” and the Saweetie-featured “Slow Clap” — has been a large part of her staying power and perennial appeal. Those songs followed “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” which reached No. 1 on the iTunes chart.
A three-time GRAMMY® Award winner, Stefani has achieved global success as a performer, songwriter, and frontwoman of No Doubt, and a multi-platinum solo artist, among other accomplishments. To date, she’s sold more than 60 million units worldwide. Her 2015 solo album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. She also previously spent seven seasons as a coach on the Emmy®-winning NBC series The Voice.
Spanning the first floor of the historic Hotel Victoria at Yonge and Wellington Streets, comes Toronto’s newest social eatery that inspires guests to relax, refuel, and revel. Mossop’s Social House (Mossop’s), named after the original proprietor of Hotel Victoria, is slated to be the new go-to social hub with its café vibe and Levantine-inspired menu designed by Executive Chef Tomer Markovitz.
Led by General Manager Jordan Gravelle and Food and Beverage Manager Jhovaine Brown, Mossop’s is a bright and welcoming café, eatery, and bar built to accommodate any type of social gathering. The vibrant space is rooted in history with early 20th-century decor including living-room-inspired seating areas, wrap-around bar, harvest tables, and cozy nooks perfect for a productive working session—- or sipping cocktails while taking in the sounds of a live band.
“We’re centrally located in the heart of downtown and close to many of Toronto’s various attractions including the Hockey Hall of Fame and St. Lawrence Market, making us the perfect destination for whatever your plans are in the city,” said Gravelle. “There’s been a lot of thought put into this space to ensure that every visit is an experience, where guests can soak in the history of Hotel Victoria and the diversity of the city, through our menus, design, and welcoming team. We also believe that our food and drink offerings will set us apart.”
Designed by beloved Toronto-based Chef Tomer Markovitz (Romi’s Bakery), the Mossop’s menu features delectable bites for every meal occasion. The lineup includes classic and unique dishes, like Avocado Toast, Nutella French Toast, Omelettes, and Shakshuka (breakfast); Pitas, Za’atar Fries, Salads, and Hummus Bowls (lunch); and Steak, Chicken or Cauliflower Skewers, Kebabs, and Branzino (dinner). Mossop’s is also an all-day café that proudly serves Detour Coffee and a wide variety of teas. The cocktails are showstoppers and are crafted with the flavours of the Levant region, including pomegranate, arak, za’atar, and molasses. There are twists on the classics like the Arak Mojito, Za’atar Paloma, and Absolutely Fireproof Caesar, and signature cocktails including Victoria Ghost (inspired by the history of the hotel), the Queen Victoria High Tea (named for the hotel’s namesake), and the Punch Me Up – Brown’s take on the Espresso Martini. There are also a number of zero-proof mocktails available.
“Toronto’s food scene is vibrant and always welcoming of fresh takes and fusion,” says Markovitz. “I wanted to showcase the flavours of my childhood through a fresh perspective, inviting people to find joy and excitement in discovering those flavours in new ways.”
“The hotel is steeped in rich history with 125 years of stories inside these walls,” said Gravelle. “When you visit with us, you will find various nods to the time when Hotel Mossop first opened in 1909, including the check-in sign above the bar, the tasselled lamps that adorn the bar, and the glass-blown bowls that are filled with Double Bubble. We’ve also left pieces intact that pay homage, including to those who have come through the building, which is reflected in the floral wallpaper, the beautiful coral room that was previously used as the Ladies’ separate entrance to the hotel, and the incredible stained-glass archways that bear the 1909 crest of the original Hotel Mossop, later to become the Hotel Victoria.”
Perhaps Mossop’s most unique feature is its Mosaic Room, a large multi-use space that is named for the mosaic tile flooring uncovered during Hotel Victoria’s 2023 renovation. Gravelle will use the space to host Mossop’s planned programming which will include chocolate workshops and coffee tastings, and can also be rented out for special events. The Mosaic Room also serves as a gallery for local artists. Through a partnership with Toronto’s Open Studio, the first exhibition, ”Making an Impression”, has begun in the space showcasing local talent until March 3rd.
There is no question that Mossop’s will deliver a fresh new experience and a place to relax, refuel, and revel.
Mossop’s is located at 56 Yonge St. and is open 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It is a first come, first served restaurant where no reservations are required. Mossop’s is steps away from King St. Subway Station and Union Station.
