Multiplatinum global superstar Hilary Duff has shared “Roommates,” the second single from her highly anticipated new album, luck… or something, arriving everywhere via Atlantic Records on Friday, February 20. Pre-orders/pre-saves are available now HERE. Co-written by Duff with her husband, GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter/producer Matthew Koma (Britney Spears, P!nk), and Brian Phillips (Alec Benjamin, blink-182) and co-produced by Koma and Phillips, “Roommates” is available everywhere now HERE. The song is joined by an official music video, directed by Matty Peacock (Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande) and streaming now on YouTube:
“Roommates is a song about when life is life-ing, babe,” says Hilary. “It’s that ache for a wilder, freer time – before the days were swallowed by carpools, budget talks, grocery runs and letting old or new insecurities slip in. It’s the restless hum of wanting to find your way back – to your rhythm, to your person, to yourself.”
Next week will see Hilary heralding luck… or something with her “Small Rooms, Big Nerves” dates, an instantly SOLD-OUT run of very special live shows marking her first headline concert appearances in over a decade. Presented by Live Nation, the intimate performances kick off January 19 at London’s historic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, followed by stops at Toronto, ON’s HISTORY (January 24), New York City’s Brooklyn Paramount (January 27), and Los Angeles, CA’s iconic The Wiltern (January 29). In addition, Duff will mark the new album’s arrival with a pair of SOLD-OUT concert residencies at the intimate Voltaire at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas set for February 13-15 and May 22-24. For complete details, please visit www.hilaryduff.com/live.
Duff’s sixth studio album, luck… or something also includes the acclaimed lead single, “Mature,” available everywhere now HERE. Hailed by VOGUE for “pushing Duff’s sound in new directions while still feeling quintessentially Hilary,” the sardonic, shimmering track – which quickly earned over 5M global streams in its first week of release – arrived as a piece of autofiction inspired by romantic misadventures in her formative years. Set against bright pop production and layered with Duff’s signature wit and vulnerability, “Mature” is accompanied by an evocative music video directed by Lauren Dunn (Olivia Rodrigo, Dove Cameron, Saweetie) which has garnered over 3.3M views and counting via YouTube.
ABOUT HILARY DUFF
One of the defining stars of her generation, multiplatinum global icon Hilary Duff is returning to the pop world with her boldest and most self-assured project yet. The stagecoach is making select stops across Toronto in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day, launching first at Canada’s Bridal Show this weekend (Jan 16-18, 2026). Pop Powerhouses PinkPantheress and Zara Larsson have released a long-awaited music video for fan-favourite track ‘Stateside’. Listen here.
Directed by Charlotte Rutherford, the music video opens with a bystander discovering a mannequin version of PinkPantheress in a Fancy That-themed shop window. The mannequin springs to life, bursting into performance before the walls begin to shake, revealing Zara Larsson as the force behind the disruption. The two mannequins face off, and their clash unleashes chaos that spills out into the streets.
‘Stateside’ has broken and is climbing the Global Spotify Top 200 charts, and officially charting in several local markets. The single marks PinkPantheress’ 7th Official Chart’s Top 40 hit, across the Atlantic, the track has now entered Billboard Hot 100, making it the 2nd from the Fancy That era and 3rd in Pink’s discography. Fancy Some More? has surpassed 700 million streams globally, and is on track to become PinkPantheress’ third billion-streaming project.
Fancy Some More? sees PinkPantheress bring together an international spectrum of artists, delivering 22 remixes. Remixes come from artists including Anitta, Bladee, JADE, JT, Kylie Minogue, Oklou, Rachel Chinouriri, Ravyn Lenae, Yves, and Zara Larsson; genre-defining groups and collectives such as Basement Jaxx, Groove Armada, SEVENTEEN (THE 8, MINGYU, VERNON.), and Sugababes; and acclaimed producers and DJs including Adame DJ, DJ Caio Prince, Joe Goddard, Kaytranada, Kilimanjaro, Leod, Loukeman, Mochakk, Nia Archives, and Sega Bodega. Each track offers a new perspective to the signature PinkPantheress sound, expanding the Fancy That universe.
Released in May this year and written and produced by PinkPantheress, Fancy That was created alongside aksel arvid, Count Baldor, phil, Oscar Scheller, The Dare and others, bringing together a collective of creative minds to shape her latest sonic evolution. P.E.I.’s award-winning producer Jenna MacMillan launches her directorial debut at SXSW with THE SNAKE. An off-beat comedy written by and starring Susan Kent (Who’s Yer Father?, This Hour Has 22 Minutes), THE SNAKE follows Jamie, an unlikely hero, who just can’t seem to get her life together. Stacked with a stellar Canadian cast including Robin Duke (Saturday Night Live), Emma Hunter (Slo Pitch), Dan Petronijevic (The Trades, Letterkenny), Jimbo (RuPaul’s Drag Race), and comedy legend Jonathan Torrens (I Kill the Bear, Letterkenny), THE SNAKE re-teams MacMillan and Kent after their success collaborating on Jeremy Larter’s Who’s Yer Father? which broke box office records in Charlottetown. THE SNAKE will have its World Premiere at SXSW in March 2026 where it is one of 8 titles selected for the Narrative Feature Competition.
“SXSW was the festival that inspired me to tell stories like this.” says director and award-winning producer Jenna MacMillan. “We’ve always seen it as the dream festival for THE SNAKE to have its world premiere. To be the first film shot in Prince Edward Island to screen there, and to share my home with SXSW audiences is a real honour.”
Despite her best attempts, Jamie just can’t get it together. THE SNAKE brings us along for a wild ride as Jamie navigates a rocky relationship, a few tussles with her venomous mother, and a recent eviction from her rightful inheritance, her late-Nana’s bright-pink house. THE SNAKE brings a new kind of heroine to the screen in this off-beat, dark comedy.
“I started THE SNAKE wanting to write about ungovernable women, bad girls,” says writer and star Susan Kent, “but not the fantasy of the hot crazy demon-in-the-sack girl trope created by dudes. I wanted to make a story of a woman who came out of the rubble of reality, and so Jamie came into focus, inspired by my life, friends’s lives and women around me, and became an unlikely hero. I have a deep attraction to people who carry on swinging in the face of shitty circumstances. We’ve all been scarred and dented up by our childhood, by life, unintentionally damaged by the people around us, and it felt like a privilege to write a woman who makes everything worse in a sort of fiery crash-course self education in how to be your own home.”
A Club Red Production, THE SNAKE is produced by Sharlene Kelly and Melani Wood and executive produced by Jenna MacMillan, Susan Kent, and Bill Lundy. Club Red Productions is founded by Jenna MacMillan (Playback ‘10 to Watch in 2025’) and behind the films Who’s Yer Father?, Back For The Holidays, Tracy & Martina: Goin’ Out West and more.
THE SNAKE will have its World Premiere at SXSW in March 2026. THE SNAKE is part of the Narrative Feature Competition.
Support for THE SNAKE provided by Telefilm Canada and the Prince Edward Island Film Fund.

FREDDIE O’CONNELL
Freddie is sincere, stoic, and kind. He was totally blind-sided when Adriana stopped skating with him, suddenly cutting him out of a family he felt was his own. But upon returning to Russo Rink, Freddie can’t fight the feelings of attraction and deep love for Adriana.
