“Hibana” – I originally had an idea of naming this tour “Spark.”
To start a revolution can also be expressed as “ Spark a Revolution,” and the word “spark” is also often used in contexts like “light a fire,” “start a fire” and “provoke something.”
If my 1st world tour was my “Wish,” my next step is to light a fire in the world as someone from Japan. Hot as a spark of fire, even if it’s small, I want to be the inspiration to start something big. “Hibana” is a Japanese word for “Spark.” I want to bring my Japanese heritage on the road with me so I named this tour “Hibana,” in Japanese.
I hope to show everyone around the world my growth since the “Wish” tour and bring you the best live performance.

At the heart of the story is Geoff (John Magaro), a young and ambitious producer striving to prove himself to his boss, the legendary TV executive Roone Arledge (Peter Sarsgaard). Together with German interpreter Marianne (Leonie Benesch) and his mentor Marvin Bader (Ben Chaplin), Geoff unexpectedly takes the helm of the live coverage. Garage doors are an essential part of any household, providing both safety and convenience. Like other mechanical systems, they are also prone to wear and tear over time. As technology and design advance, the techniques and trends for garage door repairs change too. Consequently, Canadian homeowners must learn the latest trends so their garage doors are safe, operational, and feature the newest repair technologies. From advances in smart technology down to eco-friendly solutions, garage door repairs are quick to adapt to new trends.
Many homeowners are upgrading their traditional garage doors into smart systems that can be controlled using your smartphone or even through voice assistants such as Alexa and Google Home. This also means remote access: You can open or close your garage door even when you are away from the house, making this feature very convenient and increasing security.
These systems are intelligent, but when repairs become necessary, they require specialized knowledge. As the experts at Garage Door repair Calgary, technicians have to be knowledgeable in the mechanical field of the garage door, along with the smart software mechanisms. If your smart garage door malfunctions, it’s crucial to call a technician experienced with smart technology.
As sustainability became a factor of interest for more and more Canadian homeowners, energy-efficient garage doors began to take center stage. New garage doors were built with increasingly advanced insulation that helps keep garage temperatures stable and reduces energy consumption. This directly affects repairs, because most of the insulated doors involve sophisticated materials that require specialized repair methodologies.
Any repairs or replacement in insulated panels is more complicated compared to the usual garage doors. Technicians must ensure that the insulation remains intact after repairs to maintain the door’s energy efficiency. If you have an insulated garage door, you need a technician who truly understands how to fix energy-efficient systems.
Safety is one of the main concerns of a homeowner, and advanced safety sensors are being installed on modern garage door systems. Obstructions are detected by sensors that block the closing of a garage door in case there is an object or even a person across the door. With increasingly advanced technologies, however, comes increasingly precise repairs.
Garage door sensors may fall out of alignment or malfunction due to many reasons, including physical damage and electrical problems. Repairing these sensors often involves recalibration of the system or the replacing of such faulty components. For increasingly complex systems, it is very important to find a technician updated about state-of-the-art safety sensor technologies to provide proper functionality and safety.
Most home owners now adopt garage door materials that are more sustainable and friendly to the environment, including recycled steel or wood. This also has affected the mode of repair, as many now use friendly products and techniques of repair.
Instead of replacing a garage door entirely, many homeowners and technicians today are turning to repairs that could extend the life of the door, such as replacing damaged sections or strengthening weak spots. Through the use of repair options that avoid generating waste, it is possible for homeowners to enjoy more environmentally friendly situations and save money in the long run.
With all the online tutorials and ‘how-to’ videos flooding the internet these last couple of years, many homeowners attempt to repair their garage doors themselves. While minor repairs-such as lubrication of moving parts or replacement of a remote battery-can be relatively simple, most repairs to garage doors really should be left to professionals.
Garage doors are heavy and complicated, made up of many parts that are hard to fix without the right kind of tools and expertise. Attempts at fixing more significant problems, such as a spring breaking or an opener malfunction, without proper experience are hazardous. Professional garage door technicians have the training needed to handle these repairs safely and efficiently so that the job is done right without injury or further damage to the door.
With garage door technology changing daily and improving, a homeowner should be aware of the current trends in the repair of a garage door. From incorporating smart technologies to choosing energy-efficient doors, even taking on eco-friendly repairs, there are several components to keep in mind in order for one to maintain a functional, safe, and efficient garage door.
It is, therefore, very important to hire a qualified technician who knows something about these modern trends when maintaining or repairing your garage door. This will ensure that the garage door is always in good condition to offer your home the convenience and security it deserves.

Today, Disney+ unveiled the trailer for the Original limited series FX’s “Say Nothing,” which will premiere with all nine episodes on November 14, 2024 exclusively on Disney+ in Canada. The series is based on the best-selling book by Patrick Radden Keefe, which recently ranked #19 on the New York Times’ 100 Best Books of the 21st Century.
“Say Nothing” is a gripping story of murder and memory in Northern Ireland during The Troubles.
Spanning four decades, the series opens with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again.
Telling the story of various Irish Republican Army (IRA) members, “Say Nothing” explores the extremes some people will go to in the name of their beliefs, the way a deeply divided society can suddenly tip over into armed conflict, the long shadow of radical violence for all affected, and the emotional and psychological costs of a code of silence.
The series stars Lola Petticrew as Dolours Price and Hazel Doupe as Marian Price, young women who became potent symbols of radical politics. Anthony Boyle stars as Brendan Hughes, a charismatic but conflicted military strategist, and Josh Finan as Gerry Adams, a leading political operator who would go on to negotiate peace and has always denied having any involvement with the IRA. Maxine Peake stars as older Dolours Price.
“Say Nothing” is executive produced by Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson of Color Force, creator Joshua Zetumer, Patrick Radden Keefe, Edward McDonnell, Monica Levinson and Northern Ireland native Michael Lennox. The series is produced by FX Productions.

“It’s really funny and light and lovely. But there is also a through line of a lot of heart, and all of these characters are kind of going through something — whether it’s something more comedic or something more deeply emotionally rooted. I think this movie has a very special tone to it.” – Lacey Chabert
Activist and Singer/Songwriter Anthony Wong has built a long, lasting career in his native Hong Kong. The Trailblazer, who also has found success in the duo The Tat Ming Pair, has made significant contributions, lending his voice to Democracy and LGBTQ+ rights through his music, which always has been a step ahead and conceptual.
He played an intimate show at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Toronto earlier this week as part of a two-Canadian date Song of Wanderers Tour. Vancouver also was lucky enough to get a show. The audience got a special surprise with iconic singer Cass Phang, who happened also to be in Toronto, joining him on stage for a hello! They two who have collaborated together before on music, posed for a snap together.
Thrilled to get to meet Wong, whose Music I’ve loved for years. His visit was very low-key, strolling through Kensington Market and Church Street in-between rehearsals. He still looks amazing despite being into his 60s!

Fun fact, our Chinese names are super-similar! His is phoneticized as Wong Yiu Ming, mine is Wong Yiu Ting. TWINNING!
This is my favourite song by his, which translates to “Bringing the World Alive“. Gorgeous tune!
