The Love Club is back and this time, mothers know best! Inspired by the success of W Network’s Original Movies, The Love Club, which debuted last winter, The Love Club Moms will air as a four-part special event with a movie premiere every Friday at 9 p.m. ET/PT beginning February 7 as a part of Hallmark Channel’s Loveuary and will be available to stream on STACKTV.
This year, Hallmark Channel’s Loveuary features the debut of The Love Club Moms as well as back-to-back romantic movies Friday to Sunday in February with four all-new movies premieres every Saturday.
Synopses
The four-part original movie franchise follows the romantic lives of four women – Tory (Ashley Newbrough, Love in Glacier National: A National Park Romance), Jo (Rebecca Dalton, Nurses), Harper (Genelle Williams, Family Law), and Nila (Nazneen Contractor, Children Ruin Everything) – as they juggle motherhood while trying to find their happily ever after. The Love Club Moms also stars Ryan Bruce ( Let Him Go), Corey Sevier ( Take Me Back For Christmas), Mark Taylor ( Beyond Black Beauty), and Joseph Cannata ( A Perfect Match).
Each movie opens with the signature serendipitous scene akin to The Love Club movies where the four women meet and solidify their friendship. From there, the films follow each woman as they enter into motherhood in their own unique way and help one another find first loves or second chances at love. Tory is a new single mom via adoption, Jo enters motherhood as a stepmom, Harper is a divorced mom to grade school children and Nila is a widower with a teenage daughter. Each of their ensuing romantic journeys is filled with plenty of twists and turns, heartwarming moments and comedic escapades of the Love Club who do whatever it takes to make sure love prevails… again!
Following the same unique viewing format as the original movies, The Love Club Moms can be watched sequentially or as stand-alone movies, in which each woman is the lead in her own romantic journey, helped by the rest of her friends to find their one true love.
The Love Club Moms – Tory Synopsis
A publishing powerhouse, Tory adopts a baby girl after failing to find a man who fills the void of not having the father she needs. Even a list of qualifying traits doesn’t help so she gives up on dating, besides, she’s busy being a new mom while trying to prove herself as CEO and land a new hot kids author. This prompts The Love Club to help Tory hire Finn, a nanny. But when the truth comes out that Finn was never really a nanny, The Love Club have to convince Tory that despite his lack of credentials, Finn could be the children’s author and partner she was looking for.
The Love Club Moms – Jo Synopsis
As an uptight elementary school principal, Jo’s skills are put to the test when a new young student, Simon, continuously lands in her office for detention. When she learns the boy’s father is her old high school flame Ryan, Jo’s world is thrown for a loop, especially since she has been dating Bernie, the school’s French teacher. The Love Club are stunned to learn that their sensible friend impulsively married Ryan at 19 then quickly annulled it. It becomes clear to The Love Club that neither Jo or Ryan have forgotten one another and their heated volatile relationship only reveals an intense passion that The Love Club are intent on reigniting.
The Love Club Moms – Harper Synopsis
A pillar in her community and mother of two, Harper has never failed at anything she has set out to do so when her husband asks for a separation, it throws off her whole world. When Colin, a divorced dad and community councilor seeking re-election, asks Harper for her help with his community initiatives, The Love Club encourage her to do it. Just when it seems sparks may actually ignite between these two, Colin takes credit for the initiative. Indignant, Harper throws her hat into the election ring and goes head to head with Colin. She recruits The Love Club as her campaign team, but although they champion her, they also step in to help Harper and Colin’s love blossom as a team.
The Love Club Moms – Nila Synopsis
Since her husband died three years earlier, Nila’s life has been all about her Instagram business and helicopter parenting her daughter Mara. Now a tween aching to break free, Mara creates a dating profile for her mom. Nila is horrified, but The Love Club agree it’s time Nila moved on. In order to make Mara and her Love Club friends happy, Nila agrees to date, but when all her dates bomb, she recruits local coffee shop owner Olly to be in a pretend relationship with her to get everyone off her case. But after discovering it’s a ruse, the Love Club decide to play Nila at her own game and create scenarios where Nila and Olly actually have to spend time as a couple.

Paramount+ in Canada just announced the acquisition of Canadian series, COLIN & JUSTIN’S SUB-ZERO RENO, featuring famed Scottish and adopted Canadian designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan. Known for their hits HOTEL HELL, CABIN PRESSURE, GREAT CANADIAN COTTAGES (Canada), RENO RUMBLE (Australia) and their Globe and Mail bestselling book ‘Escapology’, the new series follows the couple as they embark on a daunting renovation project in the harshest conditions imaginable – renovating their dream home in Haliburton…during a Canadian winter – a first for these veteran designers. The six-part series will drop on January 31, 2025 on Paramount+ Canada. A sneak peek of the first two episodes of the series will also be available on Pluto TV in Canada.
Today, we get a new Trailer:
COLIN & JUSTIN’S SUB-ZERO RENO puts Colin and Justin in completely new renovation territory. Having purchased a dilapidated cabin on a picturesque blue lake — beautiful in summer, but harsh in the cold months – the couple have their work cut out for them. They must transform an ugly duckling property (and former storage facility for their many projects) into their dream home amidst the unforgiving Canadian winter, where temperatures plummet to minus 40 degrees Celsius.
The series showcases the relentless pursuit of perfection as the designers face numerous obstacles, including blizzards, dangerous roads, and a rapidly ticking clock. From fraught deliveries and icy conditions to the custom designs required for the new space, every step of the renovation is pressure-filled. But the two are no stranger to adversity and are determined to overcome delays, unpredictable weather and their own demanding personalities.
“Recently, we tackled our biggest reno ever, deep in the Canadian wilderness, in the heart of winter,” said Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan. “The challenge nearly destroyed us physically, emotionally, and financially. As temperatures plummeted, it seemed like everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong, but we had a dream of turning this cottage into the home of our dreams.”
“We are excited to bring beloved design duo and honourary Canadians Colin and Justin to Paramount+,” said Vanessa Case, Vice President of Content at Paramount+ and Pluto TV Canada. “Renowned for their incredible renovation work and eccentric personalities, this series takes their talents to a new extreme, set against one of Canada’s most beautiful wilderness backdrops.”
COLIN & JUSTIN’S SUB-ZERO RENO is produced by Farpoint Films in association with Paramount+ Canada. International distribution is handled by Fred Media (Australia) and Canadian distribution by Farpoint Distribution.

“Viewers are in for a spine-chilling ride with Guess Who! This suspenseful slasher is packed with twists and turns, but at its core, it’s a powerful story about a young woman discovering her inner strength,” said Keeya King, star of Guess Who. “I had the privilege of portraying Kaitlyn Martindale, collaborating closely with our visionary director Amelia Moses and exceptionally talented cast and crew, to bring this compelling film to life. More than just an edge-of-your-seat thriller—it’s a poignant reminder of the resilience and courage we all carry within us. I’m thrilled for audiences to experience it on Hollywood Suite!”

The Canadian Artists Network is proud to announce Carol Anderson as this year’s recipient of the Robert Johnston Visionary Artist Award. The Award is given annually to an artist whose exemplary work, produced away from the spotlight of the moment and without fanfare, has been a notable source of inspiration to others in the arts and/or whose visionary contributions to the arts and broader communities have been made in under-acknowledged or ‘behind the scenes’ roles.
Carol Anderson (BFA, MA) has enjoyed a diverse career as a dancer, choreographer, educator and writer for more than five decades. She started performing in 1970 with Canadian dance pioneer Judy Jarvis, and was a founding member of Toronto’s Dancemakers in 1974. Carol continues to create dance for the stage and non-traditional spaces, and now devotes her teaching practice to older movers. Carol is currently a participant in the 2024-25 Citadel Dance Exchange, developing an intergenerational legacy project.
I am truly honoured to be the 2024 recipient of the Robert Johnston Visionary Artist Award,” said Anderson. “Bob was wonderful, kind and funny, and an expert leader deeply devoted to supporting the arts. In the spirit of his enduring way of fostering creativity, I’m delighted that the Robert Johnston Award is allowing me to commission music for a current creative project.”
“Carol Anderson is living proof that Creativity Lives Forever,” says Scott Walker, Executive Director of the Canadian Artists Network. “She was one of the first mentors in CAN’s Artist to Artist Mentoring Program, she continues to write, to create dances for older artists in which she also performs, and she continues to help seniors keep active. We are thrilled to honour her with the Robert Johnston Award.”
The Robert Johnston Visionary Artist Award was introduced in 2019 and is named in honour of the late Bob Johnston, one of the Canadian Artists Network’s original board members, whose long career included serving as Deputy Minister of Culture for the Province of Ontario and General Manager of the National Ballet of Canada. Previous winners include Patty Gail Peaker, John Leberg, Elizabeth Doxtater and Terrill Maguire. The award is supported by funding from the Distinguished Mature Artist Fund at the Toronto Foundation.
About Carol Anderson:
Carol Anderson (BFA, MA) is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, writer, movement educator and director. A founding member of Dancemakers, she worked with the Toronto company from 1974-89 as a dancer, choreographer and in artistic leadership roles. Carol was an Associate Professor of Dance at York University from 2002-2016, designing and teaching studio and studies courses in the graduate and undergraduate programs. A licensed Pilates MatWork and Level 1 GYROKINESIS® instructor, she now focuses her teaching practice on promoting mindful motion with senior movers. An avid writer, Carol has chronicled Canadian dance and other cultural matters in numerous books, articles, notes and online resources since the late 1980s, and to date has also written two books of poetry and a cultural history/cookbook. She continues to perform selectively, and create concert dance as well as dance/text installations for gardens, galleries and other non-traditional settings. Since 2012, she’s co-led Embodied Writing workshops with colleague Terrill Maguire, guiding participants to investigate the personal creative potential of writing practice. In 2021, Carol was a founding Creative Team member of Flight, an outdoor festival devoted to creating a dynamic presence for contemporary dance in rural Prince Edward County.
