#FIRSTLOOK: NEW TRAILER FOR “WELCOME TO WREXHAM”

Today, Disney+ unveiled the official trailer for FX’s “Welcome to Wrexham,” the Emmy Award-winning docuseries from Rob Mac and Ryan Reynolds. The all-new season will premiere with the first two episodes on Thursday, May 14 at 9 p.m. ET on FXX, and stream the next day on Hulu on Disney+ in Canada. One new episode of the eight-episode fifth season will release weekly. All previous seasons are now streaming on Disney+.

Launching later this spring, season five chronicles Wrexham AFC’s quest for promotion to the Premier League on the heels of three consecutive promotions, a feat that has never been achieved in English Football League history.

In 2020, Rob and Ryan teamed up to purchase the 5th tier Red Dragons in the hopes of turning the Club into an underdog story the whole world could root for.
