The official Canadian Trailer for BRIDGE OF SPIES finally surfaced today, and while this Oscar Contender won’t be hitting theatres till this Fall, here’s good two-and-a-half-minute look at this latest effort from three-time Academy Award Winner Steven Spielberg.

Although filming is just getting under way in Italy, this is our first glimpse at INFERNO, the latest adaptation of Dan Brown‘s massively-successful Franchise which began with The Da Vinci Code.  Tom Hanks reprises his Role as Robert Langdon and Felicity Jones makes her bow in this Installment as Dr. Sienna Brooks, while Ron Howard directs.

Okay I was neither here nor there about James Corden hosting THE LATE LATE SHOW, but I’m completely won over!  Mariah Carey appeared on the Show last night and somehow Corden managed to get her into his Van not only for a heart-to-heart chat, but also a majorly awesome SINGALONG!

That’s basically my entire life dream right there. SINGING IN A FRICKIN’ CAR. WITH MARIAH CAREY. WITH HAND MOVEMENTS.

Almost as good is Tom Hanks‘ appearance earlier in the week where both he and Corden re-enacted in seven minutes every single Movie Hanks ever has made!

The Clip which has the Oscar Winner lip-syncing and gallivanting through New York City is a refreshing bit of comedy. But where is Carly Rae in all of this? Oh, you’ll see. Filming has begun for Steven Spielberg‘s new as-yet-untitled Drama starring Tom Hanks! The Coen Brothers are responsible for penning its Screenplay, with Production set to take place between Berlin and New York City.

Official Synopsis:

The film is the true story of James Donovan, an attorney who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible mission to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.

Alan Alda, Amy Ryan and Mark Rylance also star.

The 86th annual Oscars Luncheon aka took place earlier today in Beverly Hills in advance of the Academy Awards next month. Can we agree the Class of 2014 is an elegant bunch?

Is that Bradley Cooper two over from Tom Hanks? Is that Meryl at the top of the class as expected? What is Julie Delpy staring at? Doesn’t Cate Blanchett look super-thrilled? Where’s Jennifer Lawrence? 🙁  I assure you Amy Adams definitely isn’t wearing Valentino!

One of the most eagerly-awaited Films to debut at TIFF ’13 is Peter Landesman‘s Parkland. The Historical Drama centers on the events of November 22nd, 1963 – a day that changed the world forever – when young American President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. This Film follows a handful of individuals forced to make split-second decisions after an event that would change their lives and forever alter the world’s landscape.

Parkland stars Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Hanks, James Badge Dale, Jacki Weaver, Zac Efron and Marcia Gay Harden.
