Rachel Zegler, the star of “Disney’s Snow White,” delighted audiences earlier today with a special performance of Waiting on a Wish, the first single from the film’s original soundtrack, at a European event at the Alcázar of Segovia Castle in Spain. Joining Zegler at the event was the film’s director Marc Webb, press, content creators, children and their families from Spanish CSR Organizations (Fundación Aladdina, Fundación sin daño, Juegaterapia, Pequeño Deseo and CEMU), and families from Segovia. 

The Alcázar of Segovia, a medieval castle located in the city of Segovia, in Castile and León, Spain, was the inspiration for the castle that appears in the 1937 animated film “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”

Walt Disney Studios Canada have just unveiled the “Snow White” Exhibit at Casa Loma, an exclusive two-week installation to celebrate the release of the upcoming live-action musical reimagining. Now through to the film’s release on March 21, 2025, the storied halls of Casa Loma will be transformed into a magical fairy tale realm bringing to life the timeless tale that started it all. With dazzling deìcor, interactive moments, and special showcases honouring the film’s iconic characters and history, it is sure to be a must-visit destination for fans and families of all ages.

Guests are invited to explore themed rooms featuring exclusive costumes and props, enjoy engaging photo opportunities, and witness spectacular performances:

· SNOW WHITE’S COURTYARD: Let your heart be delighted by Snow White’s iconic dress and make a wish at the enchanted wishing well.

· EVIL QUEEN’S THRONE ROOM: Behold the stunning costume of the Evil Queen and find out who is the fairest of them all at her Magic Mirror.

· THE MINE, TRAIN PHOTO OP & MINERS’ COTTAGE: Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to the tunnels we go! Discover the hidden wonders of the miners’ cottage and hop aboard their whimsical mine train for a photo opportunity.

· ACTIVITY AREA: Calling all princes and princesses to join the royal crafting fun and bring your favourite scenes to life with colouring sheets.

· AERIAL SHOW: Every day at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm, an aerialist dazzles high in the sky with an amazing gravity-defying performance set to an all-new original song from the film.

· CASTLE GUARDS’ TRAINING: Make haste to the Stables and witness the impressive display of skill as the castle guards undergo their rigorous training sessions, held daily at 12:00pm, 2:00pm and 4:00pm.

Rachel Zegler, the star of “Disney’s Snow White,” was in Tokyo earlier today to perform Waiting on a Wish, the first single from Walt Disney Records’ original soundtrack. She was joined on-stage by local actress and singer Sakura Kiryu, who provides the Japanese dubbing voice of Snow White, at Roppongi Hills Arena, where they performed for hundreds of fans who lined the red carpet.

Fans attending the studio showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event just got a look at the teaser trailer and poster for “Disney’s Snow White,” which opens exclusively in theatres March 21, 2025. Stars Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, who portray Snow White and the Evil Queen, respectively, were on hand to give fans exclusive details about the production and share a first look at the Whistle While You Work scene.

There never was any doubt about it, but CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR opens with a  big commotion, earning $178 million in its debut for Disney/Marvel from 4,226 theatres.  It equally is a hit with Critics and Audiences, getting both a 91% on the Tomatometer and A CinemaScore respectively. This makes it the 5th highest opening ever for a Marvel Film behind Marvel’s The Avengers‘ 2012 opening of $207 million.

Only to be outdone by its fellow studio release, THE JUNGLE BOOK slips to second spot after a three week domination, with $22.8 million from 4,144 theatres.  Thus far it has made$285 million in North America alone.

MOTHER’S DAY is in third this namesake weekend with $7 million from 3,141 theatres for Elevation Pictures/Open Road Films. It has made $18.8 million in two weeks.

THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER’S WAR lands in fourth this weekend with $3.3 million for Universal Pictures, now in its third week out. It has just surpassed $40 million in earnings.

KEANU is in sixth with $3.1 million for Warner Bros., bringing its two week total to $15.1 million.

THE BOSS is seventh with $1.7 million for Universal Pictures in its fifth week, almost crossing the $60-million mark.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE rounds-out the Top Ten with $1.2 million for Warner Bros., bringing its total to $324 million over seven weeks.

For a second straight week THE JUNGLE BOOK reads the minds of Moviegoers at the top of the Box Office with a whopping $60 million from 4,028 theatres. It has made $195 million already for Disney.

Debuting in second is THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER’S WAR with $20 million from 3,791 theatres for Universal Pictures. Its 2012 predecessor by comparison made $56 million when it opened. It gets 17% on the Tomatometer and a B+ Cinemascore.

In third with $10 million this weekend is BARBERSHOP: THE NEXT CUT. In two weeks it has made $35 million for Warner Bros.

ZOOTOPIA is in fourth with $6.7 million, now in its eighth week out for Disney.

THE BOSS earns $6.1 million in its third week out for Universal Pictures, closing-in on $50 million thus far.

COMPADRES doesn’t have a Canadian release but is in ninth with $1.4 million for Pantelion Films.

Rounding out the Top Ten is A HOLOGRAM FOR THE KING with $1.2 million in its debut from 401 theatres for eOne Films/Roadside Attractions. It gets 62% on the Tomatometer.
