Break TO returns to Scarborough Town Centre (STC) on Saturday, July 4th, transforming Centre Court into a live showcase of Canada’s vibrant breaking scene. A jam-packed program includes a full day of battles, performances and music with Canada’s leading breakers as part of its 2v2 Breaking Battle, delivered in partnership with Break TO.
Building on momentum from last year’s launch, the 2026 event introduces a broader roster of dancers and an expanded program designed to spotlight both emerging and established talent. With competitors from near and far, the event is expanding as a platform for high-caliber competition and community connection.
The event attracted over 100 contestants this year, setting the stage for a full slate of battles and live performances, with dancers competing for a $3,400 prize pool. Special guest appearances, including Canadian Beatbox Champion Scott Jackson, will add to the energy, bringing together multiple elements of hip-hop culture under one roof.
