In addition, new images from this romantic thriller have been released, starring Ester Expósito (Venus) and Hugo Diego García (The Substance). Drawn Together will release exclusively on Prime Video on September 9 in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
The cast is completed by Eric Masip (Through My Window) as Iván, Pablo Molinero (A Private Affair) as Alejandro, Zoe Bonafonte (The 47) as Gabriela, Lluís Homar (Los Abrazos Rotos) as Logan, and Joaquín Ferreira (Club de Cuervos) as Ray.
Marfil Cortés, daughter of a Spanish business tycoon, sees her perfect New York life shattered when she’s suddenly kidnapped and mysteriously released. As a result, her father assigns the enigmatic Sebastian Moore as her bodyguard. Despite her fierce independence and his professional distance, they find themselves drawn to each other. Sebastian’s mysterious and reserved nature and her untamed spirit and noble heart will start to breach their carefully guarded walls. As they return to Spain and dangerous threats emerge, they must navigate a world where nothing–and no one–is what they seem.
Drawn Together and Drawn Apart are produced by Pokeepsie Films (Banijay Iberia) (Veneciafrenia, 30 monedas, El bar) with Álex de la Iglesia and Carolina Bang as producers, Óscar Pedraza (Patria, Vivir Sin Permiso) as director, and Sofía Cuenca (Culpa Tuya, Culpa Nuestra) as screenwriter.
Drawn Together and Drawn Apart mark the third stage of collaboration between Prime Video and bestselling author Mercedes Ron, following the adaptations of her popular Culpables trilogy and Tell Me Softly. Drawn Together will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on September 9 as part of the Prime subscription.

Amazon MGM Studios has signed worldwide bestselling author Mercedes Ron to a first-look deal, formalising the creative partnership behind some of Prime Video’s biggest global hits. Dubbed the ‘House of Ron’, the collaboration has already produced Amazon MGM Studios’ most-watched International Originals with the Spanish Culpables movie trilogy watched by over 100 million viewers worldwide. The franchise found a new home with its English-language UK adaptations (My Fault and Your Fault: London); Our Fault: London wrapped production earlier this year. Today’s announcement comes during a week in which half of Prime Video’s Top 10 most-watched Prime Original films worldwide are adaptations of Ron’s works with the Culpables franchise sweeping the chart.
The deal builds on Amazon MGM Studios’ expanding relationship with Ron, which now spans multiple book series. The Dímelo trilogy’s first film adaptation, Tell Me Softly (Dimelo bajito), launched on Prime Video last year, with the second and third instalments committed to. Next to launch on Prime Video will be Drawn Together (Marfil’s duology), on September 9th, while the U.S. Amazon MGM Studios team is developing 30 Sunsets to Fall in Love (30 sunsets para enamorarte), from the Bali series, marking the first U.S. adaptation of Ron’s work, after the success of the English UK My Fault trilogy adaptation. As part of the first look deal, Ron will be executive producing all the above and future adaptations. Additionally, the deal provides Ron with the opportunity to bring IP by other authors to the attention of Amazon MGM Studios for possible adaptation.
The deal was announced by Nicole Clemens, VP and Head of UK and International Originals, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, at an event for media in Los Angeles today. Clemens was speaking ahead of Obsessed Fest, an immersive, all-day fan experience bringing audiences face-to-face with the stars, creators and worlds behind Prime Video’s most popular young adult titles, including Your Fault: London, the second instalment in the UK adaptation of Ron’s Culpables franchise. Mercedes Ron will appear at the event tomorrow, as well as Your Fault: London stars Asha Banks and Matthew Broome.
“Mercedes Ron is an extraordinary talent whose stories have captured the hearts and imaginations of fans around the world,” said Nicole Clemens, VP and Head of UK and International Originals, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. “Bringing Mercedes’ characters to life on Prime Video has been one of the most thrilling creative partnerships we’ve had, and we’re just getting started. We have Drawn Together coming up this September and we cannot wait to share it with fans. Mercedes is already part of the Amazon MGM Studios family — this represents our continued commitment to expanding the ‘House of Ron.’”
“Working with the Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios family to bring my stories to the screen has been an incredible partnership,” said Mercedes Ron. “I look forward to bringing more of my stories to life for readers around the world through this continued collaboration and am thrilled to serve as an executive producer on upcoming adaptions.”
Mercedes Ron’s books have sold over 6 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 26 languages and released in 50 countries. Her upcoming novel, “Drawn Together”, the first in the Marfil duology, will be published on August 4th. Ronis represented by WME and Johanna Castillo and Tom Ishizuka at Writers House Literary Agency.
