The red carpet was rolled out last night at Cineplex Varsity & VIP as DC Comics’ CLAYFACE had a special Toronto fan screening. In attendance were Director James Watkins and start Tom Rhys Harries, surprising fans right at the end for a Q&A with Rue Morgue‘s Andrea Subissati. Following the screening. Rhys Harries generously stayed behind at least 20 minutes to meet fans attending the screening.
The duo spent the date promoting the already-well-reviewed Psychological Body Horror doing morning shows and more before the surprise appearance.
Some highlights from the evening:

CLAYFACE is written by Horror King Mike Flanagan and centers on Mike Hagen, an up-and-coming Hollywood Actor whos career is derailed after his face is disfigured by a crime boss. He seeks the help of a Scientist for a medical procedure but what results is his body transforming into a malleable clay-like substance. He is set on seeking revenge against the crime boss, realizing his invincibility now that we can mold into everyone and everything.
Warner Bros. Pictures Canada release CLAYFACE is in theatres October 23, 2026.
