We’re all for supporting homegrown talent and Air Canada‘s enROUTE Film Festival gives you an opportunity of a lifetime! Canada, this is your chance to submit your Short Film for the Festival, which not only could win you a cash prize and a spot on Air Canada‘s in-flight Entertainment System, but also a trip to the Berlin International Film Festival where it could be screened there at the European Film Market!

Past entries were judged by the likes of Don McKellar, Guy Maddin, Laura Vandervoort, Alison Pill, Sarah Gadon, Suzanne Clément, Atom Egoyan and Donald Sutherland. Wonder who will be judging this year…

Toronto, this is your chance to see this year’s Finalists from the eighth edition of this Festival for up-and-coming Canadian Filmmakers! It’s a free screening and everyone’s welcome to attend Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 7:00 PM.

#FIRSTLOOK: 2014 AIR CANADA EN ROUTE FILM FESTIVAL NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS

Attention Filmmakers!  How would you like your Short Film to be seen by the likes of Heavy-Hitters Jean-Marc Vallée, Jay Baruchel, Evan Goldberg, Alison Pill, Atom Egoyan, Denis Villeneuve, Donald Sutherland, Sarah Gadon, Suzanne Clément, Alan Cumming, Wendy Crewson, Karine Vanasse, Remy Girard and Don Carmody?

The 2014 Air Canada enRoute Film Festival is about to take place once again and this is your chance to submit your work for a chance to win the $5k Best Short Film Prize, courtesy of Cineplex Entertainment. Winners also will be seen on Air Canada‘s In-Flight Entertainment System also!  Categories this year include: Achievement in Direction, Achievement in Cinematography, Achievement in Animation, the third annual People’s Choice Award and the brand-new Achievement in Documentary.

#TORONTO: THE 7TH ANNUAL enROUTE FILM FESTIVAL

If you’re free next Wednesday and in the Toronto area, make sure you check out the Air Canada‘s seventh annual enRoute Film Festival!   Giving up-and-coming Filmmakers a chance to showcase their work, these Short Films are seen on the Airline’s Personal Seatback In-Flight Entertainment System.

Finalists this year include the Short Films: The Worst Day Ever (still seen above), Just As I Remember, Godfather Death and Walk the Moon.

 

The Jurors of this year’s Festival include several Canadian boldface names including:

• Enrico Colantoni
• Wendy Crewson
• Sarah Gadon
• Evan Goldberg
• Martin Katz
• Michael McGowan
• Chloé Robichaud

 

You are invited to attend a free Public Screening of these Films at Varsity Cinema between 7-8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Awards will be handed-out to winning Talent at a private post-screening Reception hosted by eTalk‘s Lainey Lui.
