Flavour Network
The holidays may be over, but the cooking continues this January on Flavour Network. Worst Cooks in America returns for a staggering Season 30, where a new batch of bad cooks battle to win $25,000, beginning Sunday, January 4, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. My Kitchen Rules premieres Wednesday, January 7, at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT, with teams of competitive home chefs facing off for a grand prize of $100,000. Academy Award-nominee Stanley Tucci travels across Italy in Searching For Italy, discovering the secrets and delights of the country’s regional cuisines, starting Thursday, January 8, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Gordon Ramsay returns to Flavour Network with the all-new series Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service. Premiering Saturday, January 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Ramsay trades his signature chef knives for a state-of-the-art surveillance vehicle and cutting-edge spyware, using the help of a secret source on the inside to uncover the major issues facing each restaurant. Then, Season 9 of The Great British Baking Show: The Professionals premieres on Monday, January 19, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, where a fresh batch of pastry chefs from across the UK showcase their skills in creating exquisite patisserie delights.

Home Network
Coming to Home Network this month for international hits is the Season 1 reboot of the classic British series Cash in the Attic. Viewers can tune in on Monday, January 5, at 9/9:30 p.m. ET/PT to see a team of specialized appraisers dig through attics and discover what’s been collecting dust. Next in the lineup is Season 18 of the popular Australian series, The Block Australia, featuring five couples who build new homes from the ground up, premiering Wednesday, January 7, at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT. Taking place in an emporium deep in the British countryside, The Bidding Room brings together five expert dealers who compete to outbid each other for antiques, heirlooms, and other extraordinary items brought in by the public, beginning Saturday, January 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Love it or List it travels across the pond, expanding the hit franchise with the debut of Love It or List It UK. Premiering its Season 10 on Sunday, January 11, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the iconic series puts fed-up homeowners to the ultimate test: fix the home they’re in—or list it and move on.

The HISTORY® Channel
The HISTORY® Channel resolves to uncover the truth this new year. Fan favourite, The Curse of Oak Island, continues Season 13 with new episodes on Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Viewers will see Rick and Marty Lagina and their team return to the island as they continue their plan to solve the 230-year-old treasure mystery. This fall’s Top 20 specialty entertainment series**, The Unbelievable with Dan Aykroyd returns with new episodes Friday, January 9, at 10 p.m. ET/PT, taking viewers on a mind-blowing ride to reveal history’s strange-but-true stories, brought to life through dynamic recreations, compelling graphics, arresting archival footage, and fun, witty expert commentary.

The New Year on Global starts with the return of two fan-favourite game shows, season 6 of The Wall Monday, January 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and season 2 of Hollywood Squares Wednesday, January 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Then, for the true-crime fanatics, new series Harlan Coben’s Final Twist debuts Wednesday, January 7 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. From one of the world’s best-selling mystery authors, each one-hour episode sees Harlan guide audiences through gripping tales of murder, high-profile crimes and life-altering surprises, each meticulously unraveled to reveal hidden truths, deceptions and lies.

Survivors, ready? Wednesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT marks the historic three-hour premiere of Survivor season 50 on Global featuring castaways spanning from season 1 up to the currently airing season 49. For the first time ever, the game is “In the Hands of the Fans”! The fans will determine key elements through votes, and the players won’t know what the fans voted for until they are competing on the island. Following the longest premiere in the series’ history, season 50 will continue with action-packed 90-minute episodes each week.

NEW AND RETURNING SCRIPTED DRAMAS

Brand-new dramas, from two of TV’s greatest producers and hitmakers, are Global’s most-anticipated midseason additions starting with Dick Wolf’s CIA Monday, February 23 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. The new procedural, in an expansion of the FBI universe, stars Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss as two unlikely partners – Colin Glass, a fast-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA agent and Bill Goodman, a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent who believes in the rule of law. Then, on Sunday, March 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, Y: Marshals stars Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton. With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana.

Global’s slate of returning hit dramas starts with the season 2 winter premiere of Doc Tuesday, January 6 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Then, this fall’s #1 show on Thursday nights, season 9 of 9-1-1, returns Thursday, January 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT*. Directly after, beloved Global Original legal drama Family Law season 4 premieres Thursday, January 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. As the exclusive Canadian home of Peacock Originals and Hallmark content, Showcase and W Network are the ultimate destinations for premium entertainment delivering big laughs, edge-of-your-seat action, heartfelt moments, and intense drama. All series will be available to stream on STACKTV.

The series follows first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu) who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies. The Copenhagen Test also stars Melissa Barrera (In the Heights, Scream V and VI) as Michelle, Sinclair Daniel (The Other Black Girl, Insidious: The Red Door) as Parker, Brian d’Arcy James (Spotlight, 13 Reasons Why) as Peter Moira, Mark O’Brien (City on a Hill, Ready or Not) as Cobb, and Kathleen Chalfant (Wit, The Affair) as St. George.

Next up is limited drama series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy premiering Wednesday, January 7 at 9 p.m. ET. The series filmed in Toronto stars Michael Chernus (Severance, Dead Ringers), Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us, Terminator: Dark Fate), James Badge Dale (Savant, 1923), Michael Angarano (Oppenheimer, This Is Us), Chris Sullivan (This Is Us, Mercy), and Marin Ireland (The Irishman, The Umbrella Academy). From 1972-1978, thirty-three young men were kidnapped, murdered and buried in a crawl space beneath their killer’s house. Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy peels back the twisted layers of Gacy’s life while weaving in heartrending stories of his victims; exploring the grief, guilt, and trauma of their families and friends; and exposing the systemic failures, missed opportunities and societal prejudices that fueled his reign of terror. Starting December 22, viewers can also binge the entire series exclusively on STACKTV ahead of the broadcast premiere as part of STACKTV’s Holiday Sampling Event.

Rounding out the midseason schedule is PONIES starring Emmy Award®-nominated Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones, Me Before You) and Haley Lu Richardson (The White Lotus) premiering Thursday, January 15 at 9 p.m. ET. Moscow, 1977. Two “PONIES” (“persons of no interest” in intelligence speak) Bea (Clarke) and Twila (Richardson) work anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy. That is, until their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances in the USSR, and the pair become CIA operatives. Bea is an over-educated, Russian-speaking child of Soviet immigrants. Her cohort, Twila, is a small-town girl who is as abrasive as she is fearless. Together, they work to uncover a vast Cold War conspiracy and solve the mystery that made them widows in the first place. The series also stars Adrian Lester (Sandman, Day After Tomorrow), Artjom Gilz (Tar, Das Boot), Nicholas Podany (Saturday Night, Hello Tomorrow), Petro Ninovskyi (Shttl, Silence), and Vic Michaelis (Very Important People, Upload).

W NETWORK

Over on W Network, the schedule heats up with the delicious Season 2 return of The Chicken Sisters on Sunday, January 4 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The second season follows Amanda (Schuyler Fisk), Mae (Genevieve Angelson, The Handmaid’s Tale, Good Girls Revolt), Nancy (Lea Thompson, Switched at Birth, Back to the Future) and Gus (Wendie Malick, Young Sheldon, Shrinking, Just Shoot Me!) as they use The Chicken Sisters restaurant to officially put a generations-long feud to rest, while Frank Jr. begins another by opening a Mr. Chicken’s Cluckery on Merinac’s Main Street. Meanwhile, the longest running Hallmark Channel original series, When Calls the Heart, returns for Season 11 on Sunday, January 4 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Chris McNally, Jack Wagner and Pascale Hutton, this season explores renewal, redemption, and of course romance as Hope Valley enters the 1920’s.

Up next, generations clash in laugh-out-loud series Z Suite starring Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls), Nico Santos (Superstore) and Madison Shamoun (The Lake) premiering with two back-to-back episodes on Monday, January 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Advertising maven Monica Marks (Graham) and her loyal right hand executive Doug Garcia (Santos) have long been at the top of the Madison Avenue world. But after a record scratch blunder, they are suddenly canceled, pushed out and replaced by the agency’s rising Gen Z employees led by social media manager, Kriska Thompson (Shamoun). Refusing to go quietly, Monica launches her biggest campaign yet – getting their careers back and taking down the eager team of Gen-Zers who are just getting comfortable in their new roles.

Also joining the midseason lineup is horror comedy The ‘Burbs, a new series adaptation of the 1989 film of the same name starring and executive produced by Keke Palmer (Nope, Password). Set in present-day suburbia, The ‘Burbs follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbour moves in across the street bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighbourhood. The series also stars Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise), Julia Duffy (Palm Royale), Paula Pell (Girls5eva), Mark Proksch (What We Do in the Shadows), and Kapil Talwakar (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist). Lastly, beloved series Outlander takes its final bow with the Season 8 premiere on Monday, March 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. In the closing chapter of the Sony Pictures Television produced series Outlander, a heart-wrenching journey lies ahead for Claire and Jamie’s enduring love story. As Season 8 begins, Jamie and Claire soon find the war has followed them home to Fraser’s Ridge, now a thriving settlement that has grown and flourished in their absence. With new arrivals and changes made during their years away, the Frasers are confronted with the question of what they are willing to sacrifice for the place they call home and, more importantly, what they would sacrifice to stay together. While the Frasers keep a united front against outside intruders, family secrets finally coming to light threaten to tear them apart from the inside. Today, Global revealed its 2025/26 broadcast season offering featuring seven star-studded new series as well as many of television’s most-watched returning hits. New this fall on Global is the single-camera workplace comedy DMV. SCRIPTED DRAMA & ADULT COMEDY

Corus continues to bring Canadian audiences the best in premium entertainment through its exclusive long-term partnership with NBCUniversal, delivering a powerhouse catalogue of Peacock and Sky Original series. This season stands out with compelling new shows alongside acclaimed returning titles featuring A-list talent. Showcase

Showcase is gearing up for a breakout season with buzz-worthy new titles including, The Paper, a mockumentary from Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, starring Domhnall Gleeson (About Time, Ex-Machina) and Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus). The documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in The Office is in search of a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it. The Copenhagen Test, starring Simu Liu, is an espionage thriller series that follows first generation-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu) who realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears.

The stakes remain high with PONIES, a spy thriller series starring Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson, where two “Ponies” (“persons of no interest” in intelligence speak) work anonymously as secretaries in the American Embassy. That is, until their husbands are killed under mysterious circumstances in the USSR and the pair become CIA operatives.

The symphony of hits continues with Amadeus, a new Sky limited series starring Will Sharpe (The White Lotus) and Paul Bettany (A Very British Scandal, WandaVision) that centers around 25-year-old Amadeus (Sharpe) eager to break free from his child prodigy past and controlling father, Amadeus arrives in 18th-century Vienna and meets the devoutly religious court composer, Antonio Salieri (Bettany). What begins as curiosity quickly spirals into a murderous obsession as Salieri recognizes the divine genius in Amadeus’ music—music so transcendent it shakes Salieri’s faith to its core.

Also, Ted, the live-action comedy based on the blockbuster film franchise is back for a second season with Seth MacFarlane reprising the voice of the iconic and lovable foul-mouthed teddy bear. The franchise is also expanding with Ted: The Animated Series (WT), a new animated comedy from MacFarlane that continues Ted’s misadventures following the events of the films. The reign of Bel-Air continues as the modern-day reimagining of the iconic culture-defining ’90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, returns for Season 4.

W Network

Coming to W Network is suburban-thriller Peacock series All Her Fault, starring Sarah Snook as Marissa Irvine, a working mother who arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door isn’t a mother she recognizes. She doesn’t have Milo and has never heard of him. And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare. Rounding out the all-star cast are Dakota Fanning, Jake Lacy and Michael Peña.

Also coming to the network is dark comedy, The ‘Burbs starring Keke Palmer, which follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbour moves in across the street bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light.

Fan favourite, Outlander, the #1 drama series among specialty entertainment programs*** returns for its eighth and final season, with an epic conclusion sure to captivate viewers across the country.

HALLMARK CHANNEL ON W NETWORK

National Geographic

National Geographic gets up close and personal with the outcasts of the animal kingdom in Underdogs, narrated by Ryan Reynolds. From their hidden talents to their unconventional hygiene choices to their unsavory courtship rituals, Underdogs celebrates the unique behaviors of the animals who don’t usually get to be the stars of the show.

Slice

Follow superstar, Tiffany Haddish, in Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, coming to Slice. In the six-part docuseries, Haddish and her three closest childhood girlfriends take a girls’ trip of a lifetime, exploring Africa and their connection to the continent. Returning to the Slice slate is new seasons of The Challenge, Below Deck Down Under, Married to Medicine, Southern Hospitality, and new episodes of The Daily Show. New series Two Sisters: Missing, Murdered, Betrayed, The Gilgo Beach Killer: House of Secrets, and The Idaho Student Murders join the network.

ADULT ANIMATION

Adult Swim caters to its dedicated fanbase by delivering distinctive animation series. This season the network introduces an exciting mix of originals, including The Robot Chicken Self-Discovery Special, which follows the hapless Robot Chicken Nerd as he seeks self-discovery America’s way: going on reality shows! Also coming soon, star-studded, limited series Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist, featuring Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Don Cheadle, Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, based on the infamous story of how an armed robbery during the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970s comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but an entire city’s destiny.

Highly anticipated Sky and Peacock Original series The Day of the Jackal and Lockerbie will also be coming to Showcase. Joining Showcase’s roster in 2024, The Day of the Jackal is a contemporary reimagining of the classic thriller starring Oscar, Tony and BAFTA-winner Eddie Redmayne as an elusive assassin and Lashana Lynch as a tenacious MI6 agent. Delivering a solid 18.5 hours of simulcast programming in primetime this fall, Global’s strong 2024/25 roster offers a fully loaded schedule of fresh, star-studded premium content across the network and streaming on STACKTV and the Global TV App.

New this fall on Global is a smart, modern take on the iconic procedural drama Matlock, starring Oscar®-winner and screen legend Kathy Bates in the titular role as “Matty,” Skye P. Marshall as Olympia, Jason Ritter as Julian and recurring star Beau Bridges who plays Senior. Joining Global’s proven roster of hit procedurals is the latest installment in the NCIS franchise, NCIS: Origins, which takes viewers back to Agent Gibbs’ early days starring Austin Stowell and narrated by Mark Harmon. NEW PRIMETIME SERIES FOR FALL 2024

One of the most hotly-anticipated new acquisitions coming to Global on Thursdays this fall is Matlock, starring Oscar® winner Kathy Bates as Madeline “Matty” Matlock, a brilliant septuagenarian who achieved success in her younger years and decides to rejoin the workforce at a prestigious law firm where she uses her unassuming demeanour and wily tactics to win cases. Matty is assigned to Olympia (Skye P. Marshall), a senior attorney and key rainmaker with a thirst for justice. Olympia’s ex-husband, Julian (Jason Ritter), the son of the head of the firm, is intrigued by Matty and her clever skills. As Matty endeavours to establish herself in her new high-stakes world, she works alongside the firm’s younger associates – the charismatic Billy (David Del Rio) and the uber ambitious Sarah (Leah Lewis).

Next comes NCIS: Origins, the latest installment in the blockbuster hit NCIS franchise. Airing Monday nights, NCIS: Origins follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Austin Stowell) in 1991, years prior to the events of NCIS, and is narrated by Mark Harmon. In the series, Gibbs starts his career as a newly minted special agent at the fledgling NCIS Camp Pendleton office where he forges his place on a gritty, ragtag team led by NCIS legend Mike Franks (Kyle Schmid).

The crime-solving doesn’t stop on Global with the latest addition to Wednesday nights, Murder in a Small Town, based on L.R. Wright’s acclaimed thirteen-book Karl Alberg series and stars Rossif Sutherland and Kristin Kreuk. It follows the titular character (played by Sutherland), who moves to a quiet coastal town, filmed in beautiful British Columbia, to escape the stress of big-city police work, but soon discovers that the seemingly idyllic town harbours dark secrets, and he must use his detective skills to solve a series of murders.

Then, big laughs are also on the Global schedule Monday nights with Poppa’s House, starring Damon Wayans and Damon Wayans Jr. Wayans stars as legendary radio host and happily divorced “Poppa” who has his point of view challenged at work when a new female co-host (Essence Atkins) is hired, and at home where he finds himself still parenting his adult son (Damon Wayans Jr.), a brilliant dreamer who is trying to pursue his passion while being a responsible father and husband.

NEW PRIMETIME SERIES FOR MID-SEASON

Global’s mid-season lineup kicks off with Watson. Taking place a year after the death of his friend and partner Sherlock Holmes at the hands of Moriarty, Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. Watson’s old life isn’t done with him, though – Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century. Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative spine, featuring a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.

Then, Doc follows the hard-charging Chief of Internal Medicine Dr. Amy Larsen (Molly Parker). After a brain injury erases the last eight years of her life, Amy must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she’s treated, colleagues she’s crossed, the man she loves, or the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. Scott Wolf is featured in a recurring role as Dr. Richard Miller. An attending physician, Richard is uptight, ambitious, and afraid to admit mistakes.

Next up is the return of the iconic game show Hollywood Squares, which features two contestants playing tic-tac-toe to win money and prizes. The “board” for the game is a vertical stack of open-faced cubes, each occupied by a celebrity seated at a desk and facing the contestants. The celebrities are asked questions and the contestants judge the legitimacy of their answers to win the game. Award-winning actress and daytime’s #1 talk show host Drew Barrymore will take her place as the famed “centre square” answering questions for the contestants.

In Jessica’s Big Little World, a spin-off of the Emmy®, GLAAD, and NAACP Image Award-nominated Cartoon Network original Craig of the Creek, the Creek’s favourite resilient little sister, Jessica, navigates her way through a world where everything seems much bigger than she is. With the help of her friends, imaginary and real, Jessica sets off to take on the world, even if she still does suck her thumb…sometimes. Rounding out the schedule, iconic children’s entertainment group The Wiggles bring a fourth season of Ready, Steady, Wiggle! to the network. Season 4 will be the first to feature the new Yellow Wiggle, Tsehay, as well as introducing the full newly expanded cast of eight Wiggles, two for each colour. Hamsters of Hamsterdale and Jessica’s Big Little World will all be available to stream on TELETOON+.
