We had such a lovely time at Financial District’s CKTL & CO. and just wanted to let you know of this exciting new event for Whisky lovers, coming up in October.

Whisky Tasting & Pairing Night with Glenfiddich

Event description: Led by an expert guide, explore a carefully curated selection of some of Glenfiddich’s finest whiskies – Glenfiddich XX, Glenfiddich Gran Reserva (21 Year), and Glenfiddich Grand Cru (23 Year), each paired with delectable dishes by CKTL & Co. to enhance the tasting experience.

Situated right in Toronto’s bustling Financial District is the sleek and sophisticated space that is CKTL & CO. With a thoughtfully-curated drink and food menu inspired by the Stock Market, get ready to be dazzled. Their cocktails are even governed by market pricing, so be paying attention to the Big Board!
New at CKTL & CO. is a Happy Hour Menu that runs Monday to Friday from 2-5 PM, offering guests discounted snacks and drinks. Half-priced wines also are a new attraction on Wednesdays, perfect for a mid-week pick-me-up. Not sure what to get, their knowledgable and friendly “Brokers” will be happy to reommend.
Inspired by TIFF ’23 gala DUMB MONEY, a special namesake cocktail is available for a limited time only. We also previewed the beautiful PINK SLIP Cocktail as well. Finally a pink slip that we actually want!
We are thrilled to have tried some of CKTL & CO‘s signature items. We learned that their Truffle Fries are a hit and can confirm, they are a perfect share plate with a perfect dash of parm. Their Lamb Chops, served on mashed potatoes and with a glaze reduction – absolutely succulent and unforgettable. The Mushroom Risotto, comprised of Cremini, Enoki and Portobello mushrooms, also came highly-recommended and it was divine in its creamy decadence, topped with Mascarpone. A mushroom lovers’ delight. We learned that their Truffle Fries are a hit and can confirm, they are a perfect share plate. Our guest who doesn’t eat meat, was very pleased with their Veggie Burger which actually was quite “meaty”.
If you have any room left after these generous portions, I recommend the Ferrero Rocher Cheesecake, a super-soft and creamy New York-style Cheesecake with a chocolate drizzle and topped with the confection. No regrets.
