#FOOD: “BY RESERVATION ONLY” PODCAST RELEASES TONIGHT

GLORY Media announces the launch of By Reservation Only, a new podcast hosted by Toronto-born creative and entrepreneur Hannah Kim, premiering October 26, 2026. Exploring the relationship between food, culture and personal identity, the series brings together notable personalities from hospitality, fashion, entertainment and beyond for conversations that reveal the experiences, traditions and influences that have shaped their lives.

Built around the idea that our tastes tell a story, By Reservation Only uses food as a starting point for conversations that extend beyond the dining table. From memorable meals and family traditions to personal style, travel and the meaning of luxury, each episode explores how our choices reflect our values, memories and sense of identity. Through candid conversations, Kim invites guests to share the people, places and experiences that have influenced their perspectives, both personally and professionally.
Among the guests featured in the inaugural season is MICHELIN-starred Chef Alvin Leung, internationally recognized for his innovative approach to Chinese cuisine and his acclaimed Hong Kong restaurant, Bo Innovation. Known as the “Demon Chef,” Leung has built an international reputation for challenging culinary conventions and reinterpreting traditional Chinese flavours. His conversation will offer listeners a closer look at the experiences and influences that have shaped his career, both inside and outside the kitchen.

For Kim, the concept is a natural extension of her background in education, fashion and entrepreneurship. Born and raised in Toronto, Kim began her career as an educator with the Toronto District School Board before transitioning into the fashion industry, where she co-founded a sustainable accessories brand featuring vegan handbags and accessories designed in Seoul. Her experience across these industries, combined with a passion for travel and dining, has shaped her perspective on the connections between culture, creativity and personal expression.

Having explored culinary destinations across Canada and internationally, Kim has developed an appreciation for the people and traditions behind memorable dining experiences. Rather than viewing luxury solely through exclusivity or aesthetics, she is interested in the stories, relationships and cultural influences that give an experience meaning. Through By Reservation Only, she brings this perspective to conversations about food, heritage, ambition and the moments that have shaped her guests’ lives.

As the latest addition to the GLORY Podcast Network, By Reservation Only marks a continued expansion of GLORY Media’s original audio and video programming, bringing Kim’s perspective on food, fashion, travel and contemporary culture to audiences through conversations that offer a more personal look at the people shaping these industries.
