Sid Sriram already is a huge star globally but he is about to build a fanbase in the English-speaking world very soon. He has devout fanbases in the Tamil ,Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and Marathi-speaking communities and now is prepping the release of his English-language debut album with Universal Music.
The Berklee graduate was raised and educated in California before moving to Chennai, and then Colorado where he is based now. His sound can be described as California, Minnesota, R&B and Carnatic Music fused together.
Sriram worked with Ryan Olson and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver on this upcoming studio disc and it was an amazing experience seeing and hearing him perform live before an intimate audience at a private showcase held in Toronto at Drake Underground. He tells the audience he actually has been to the City before, but this is somewhere we wanted to debut this new material.
In support of the Album, Sriram did three days of Press in the City, ensuring he reaches that deserved new audience. His voice is a magical emotive instrument and his Music truly takes you to a different place. Debut single “Do the Dance” arrives late March.
