#SPOTTED: DAVID CRONENBERG MODERATES “BLUE HERON” Q&A
Visionary Filmmaker David Cronenberg moderated a special Q&A for seven-time Canadian Screen Award-nominated BLUE HERON. The sold-out screening took place Friday night at Cineplex Varsity in Toronto.
Sophy Romvari’s autobiographical Drama is now in theatres via Blue Fox Entertainment Canada, centering on her family who struggle to cope with her elder brother’s exhibiting behavioural issues after they immigrate to Vancouver Island from Hungary. The Film explores the troubled family dynamic with sensitivity and authenticity, little wonder why it continues to win raves.
Cronenberg endorsed the Film, which actually is a feature directorial debut for Romvari, asking her about the process of casting actors to play her family, and whether Romvari had any interest in acting. He revealed he’s about do a guest role on Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent!
