Having notched already five Billboard US ROCK Top 30 Singles under her belt, British Singer-Songwriter by way of Tokyo and Hong Kong Bishop Briggs, returns to Toronto. The raw, soulful 25-year-old Songstress played a packed house at Opera House in a condensed 50-minute set highlighting her material which easily could have crossed-over to Top 40 Radio.
If you saw popular Fifty Shades Freed earlier this year, you heard Briggs‘ cover of INXS‘ Never Tear Us Apart. Hits from Debut Disc Church of Scars including River, Wild Horses, Be Your Love and White Flag were performed. Montreal will next be lucky enough to hear her live tomorrow night.
While she was rushed away by Handlers we were lucky enough to get a Selfie and we’re thrilled. The future looks bright for Briggs who is just gaining momentum still.
