Feel-good pop duo Crash Adams have released their new single “Optimist” today. The new track showcases the group’s signature uplifting lyrics and inspirational sound. “Optimist” is a deeply personal track for the band, who have made it their life’s mission to bring joy, positivity, and optimism to everyone they encounter.
Video premieres at noon ET today:
Of the new track, the band says “‘Optimist’ is a song about being there for someone you care about when they’re going through their darkest times. No matter how hard life gets or how much they feel like giving up, we refuse to let them face it alone. When the world seems to be falling apart around them, I promise to stay by their side, offering hope and strength, even when they can’t see it themselves. I will be the one who lifts them up, choosing to focus on the good and reminding them that there’s always a way out of the darkness. It’s about love, resilience, and never letting them lose sight of the light, even when the world tries to count them out.”
2024 has been a breakout year for Crash Adams. The group have taken their music around the world, with stops in Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In addition to these international stops, the band completed a North American headlining tour that included a sold-out show in their hometown of Toronto, Canada.
Crash Adams’ music has the same kind of mood-lifting power as a hit of pure dopamine. Their cinematic, larger-than-life songs relay a potent, affective mix of adrenaline, nostalgia, and hard-earned gratitude. The duo have an impressive knack for storytelling, citing art-pop acts like The 1975 and country music acts like Dan + Shay as their inspiration for writing tracks that tug at listeners’ heart strings and remind them how beautiful daily experiences can be, given the right framing.
