#FOOD: SOMMELIER SHOWDOWN SERIES AT RILEY’S

The Sommelier Showdown is back — bringing a little friendly competition to Toronto’s food and wine scene this fall.

Starting September 28, 2026 at Riley’s Toronto, two leading sommeliers will go head-to-head, pairing wines with a decadent four-course dinner while guests taste, compare and ultimately vote for the winner. The winning sommelier advances to the next round, culminating in a Final Showdown on November 23, 2026

It’s part culinary competition, part wine education and part night out — with the pairings unfolding course by course in front of a live audience.

The Sommelier Showdown:

• Round 1: September 28
• Round 2: October 26
• Final Showdown: November 23

The Dinner:

• 6:00 pm: Reception + amuse-bouche
• 6:30 pm: Four-course dinner + nine wines

$225 per person + tax and gratuity
