Toronto’s Filipino community will once again gather at Stackt Market this weekend as Kalamansi Fest returns on Saturday, August 8 and Sunday, August 9, transforming the popular venue into one of Canada’s largest celebrations of Filipino culture.
Presented by Kalamansi Collective and Barkada Mrkt, the free two-day festival will feature a vibrant Filipino Night Market, bringing together Filipino-owned businesses, artists, performers and food vendors from across Canada and the United States. Visitors can shop exclusive products, discover emerging brands, enjoy live entertainment and experience a weekend celebrating the diversity and creativity of the Filipino community.
The festival is proud to once again welcome MYX as its Official Media Partner, helping share the celebration with Filipino audiences across North America.
Running from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Kalamansi Fest showcases the best of Filipino entrepreneurship, art, music, fashion and culture while creating opportunities for local artists and small businesses to connect with thousands of attendees.
“Kalamansi Fest has always been about creating opportunities for our community,” said Kris Pangilinan, Founder of Kalamansi Collective. “From the very beginning, our goal has been to create a platform where Filipino businesses can grow, artists can share their work, performers can take the stage and our community can come together to celebrate our culture.
“One of the things that makes Kalamansi Fest so special is seeing entrepreneurs and creatives travel from across North America to be part of it. It speaks to the strength of our community and why it’s so important to create spaces where we can celebrate our culture, collaborate and support one another.
“We’re also excited to debut our Kalamansi Fest Capsule Collection, featuring an exclusive collaboration piece with Filipino Canadian artist Mar Cortez. It’s a collection created especially for the festival, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
Festival highlights include:
A Filipino Night Market featuring Filipino-owned businesses, makers and food vendors from across North America
Live performances from Filipino Canadian musicians, dancers and entertainers throughout the weekend
Showcases featuring local Filipino artists, designers and creatives
The debut of the Kalamansi Fest Capsule Collection, including an exclusive collaboration with Filipino Canadian artist Mar Cortez

Kalamansi Collective has always believed in creating opportunities for Filipino artists and creatives to showcase their talents. From musicians and designers to visual artists, entrepreneurs and storytellers, Kalamansi Fest continues that mission by providing a platform to connect with new audiences while celebrating Filipino culture in the heart of Toronto.
