#FIRSTLOOK: “JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS” TRAILER

I loved JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS growing-up in the ’80s. The Animated Series which followed the adventures of a Glam-Girl Rock Band not only was fashion-forward, but also ahead of its time in its message of empowerment for young Girls and the Music also was amazing! A new Trailer for the Live Action Film Adaptation of the Series and although we don’t think it quite nails the essence of the Series, we still are curious to see it! Where are rivals, The Misfits?!?!

Official Synopsis:
A teenage orphan, Jerrica Benton (Aubrey Peeples), and her friends become an online recording sensation named Jem and the Holograms. She and her friends set out on a music-driven scavenger hunt across Los Angeles to find a final message left by her father.
