Kicking off on Saturday, August 1, Jackpot City Casino’s wildly popular free cab campaign returns to the streets of Toronto for a third straight summer, offering complimentary rides anywhere in the city and a shot at stepping out of the back seat up to $30,000 richer.

The campaign has earned its following: over its first two summers, Jackpot City Casino has given away over 5,600 rides and $43k in prize money to riders across the city. Beginning August 1, seven eye-catching purple-wrapped Co-op Cabs with digital taxi tops, each clearly marked “Free Taxi”, will once again roam Toronto’s streets, picking up riders anywhere in the city — completely free of charge — and turning everyday commutes into unforgettable moments.

The escalating weekly cash prizes are back, too. Each week of the campaign, one lucky rider will step out of their free cab with a surprise cash prize in hand and the stakes climb every week: $3,000 in week one, rising to $5,000 in week two, then $12,000, and culminating in a $30,000 grand finale in the final week before the campaign wraps up on Monday, August 31.
