The main event features Dominican southpaw De Los Santos (17-2, 15 KOs) against the Mexican-born Valenzuela (15-3, 9 KOs) in a 10-round rematch of their memorable 2022 Fight of the Year contender. In their first meeting, De Los Santos stepped in on one day’s notice and earned a sensational TKO victory over Valenzuela, who was a heavy favorite. The fight was nonstop action from start to finish, with the southpaws trading knockdowns in the second round. De Los Santos scored another knockdown in the third, securing the KO after a furious follow-up wobbled Valenzuela.
In the co-main event, Omar Trinidad (20-0-2, 14 KOs) of Los Angeles takes on former world titlist Jerwin Ancajas (38-4-2, 25 KOs) of the Philippines in a 10-round featherweight scrap. Following a dominating Zuffa Boxing debut against Max Ornelas, the 30-year-old Trinidad will face the most experienced opponent of his career in Ancajas, who reigned as super flyweight champion for more than five years.
Opening the main card on Paramount+, Sacramento’s “Sugar” Cain Sandoval (17-1, 15 KOs) will take on Southern California standout Brandun Lee (30-0, 23 KOs) in a 10-round fight. The 23-year-old Sandoval looks to bounce back following his first career loss against Julian Rodriguez earlier this year in the inaugural Zuffa Boxing event.
Fans can stream the full eight-fight Zuffa Boxing card with a Paramount+ subscription at no additional cost in Canada, the U.S., Latin America and Brazil. The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland.
Additional information on the event will be announced in the coming weeks.
