#FIRSTLOOK: “EDDINGTON” TO COMPETE IN COMPETITION IN CANNES

EDDINGTON is premiering in competition at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and it is in theatres July 18, 2025 via VVS Films.

From writer and director Ari Aster, and starring Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone, Austin Butler and Luke Grimes.

Synopsis:

In May of 2020, a standoff between a small-town sheriff (Joaquin Phoenix) and mayor (Pedro Pascal) sparks a powder keg as neighbor is pitted against neighbor in Eddington, New Mexico.
