QUOTES:
Edith Bowman, Co-Host, On The Box: The BritBox Podcast: “I am absolutely thrilled to be launching this new BritBox podcast with Michelle Collins. I have long admired her sharp wit and infectious energy, so getting to work alongside her is a real joy. We share a deep love of great television and a healthy obsession with the outrageous bits, and we cannot wait to bring listeners into the heart of the conversation. With some incredible guests joining us along the way, it is going to feel like one big brilliant team celebrating the shows we love.”
Michelle Collins, Co-Host, On The Box: The BritBox Podcast: “As a life-long Anglophile, getting to work with BritBox and BBC Studios Audio is truly the dream come true for me. When I received the call to co-host “On The Box” with the Scottish legend Edith Bowman – whose voice both soothes and delights – I immediately said yes. We get to analyze, laugh about, and obsess over all the hit British shows that are leaving audiences on the edge of their seats. What could be more fun than that?”
Alana McGaughey, Executive Producer, On The Box: The BritBox Podcast and SVP Publicity and Communications, BritBox: “BritBox has always been fueled by a deep love of British television and the conversations it inspires. Launching our first original podcast is an exciting evolution for us—creating a dedicated space where those conversations can thrive and where fan engagement becomes true community. We want listeners to feel closer to the storytelling and talent shaping the UK creative landscape. Edith Bowman and Michelle Collins are an exceptional pairing—smart, candid and endlessly engaging—and we’re thrilled to welcome audiences into what we hope will become a vital extension of the BritBox experience.”
Richard Morris, Creative Director, Comedy and Entertainment, BBC Studios Audio: “It’s very exciting to be making On The Box with our talented team of BritBox colleagues. Edith and Michelle are a dream team and we can’t wait to hear them lift the lid on all the great content in BritBox’s incredible catalog. It’s exciting to be expanding our slate of shows aimed at the US market after the success of the official Dancing with the Stars companion podcast and The Big Pitch with Jimmy Carr for Netflix last year.”
As global demand for premium British television continues to grow, BritBox has emerged as the leading curator in the space, backed by a deeply loyal fanbase. Following the successful launch of its BritBox Premier tier last year, the service has entered 2026 with strong momentum, driven by the critically acclaimed debut of Riot Women and a robust slate of forthcoming titles including The Lady, season two of Ludwig, season four of Blue Lights and the highly anticipated adaptations of The Other Bennet Sister and Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence. On the Box: The BritBox Podcast will be available on all major podcast platforms.
