One of the Actors whom I wanted to meet most at TIFF 2012 definitely was Jeremy Irvine. The talented and handsome 22-year-old starred in last year’s Best Picture Candidate, War Horse and is here at the Festival with Great Expectations. Irvine stars alongside the likes of Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter and his younger Brother Toby also appears as a younger version of himself in the Film.
I caught-up with the Actor as he left the InStyle Magazine Party at Windsor Arms Hotel and he was nice enough to walk over for a quick Snap, as was his younger Brother who had left much earlier. Expect great things. Definitely one of Hollywood’s hottest emerging new Talents.

If you haven’t yet seen the clever and witty Ruby Sparks, you must do so soon. Real-life Partners, Zoe Kazan and Paul Dano who star in the Movie, were amazing enough to work the line of Fans waiting at the InStyle Magazine Party and both are just as sweet in-person as you’d imagine!
Kazan of course, will be in Toronto for the next while as she films The F Word opposite Daniel Radcliffe.

This has to be one of the ultimate highlights of the TIFF 2012 InStyle Magazine Party – getting a Snap together with Suits Star Patrick J. Adams and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air‘s Tatyana Ali! Both are completely unrelated and this pairing is completely random – a perfect example of the mishmash of people we see here at the Festival.

With only a fraction of the Attendees from previous years at annual TIFF fixture, the InStyle Magazine Party, many are wondering about the future of what once was one of the great highlights of the Festival. For one, budget cuts resulted in Candy Gift Bags being given the Guests whereas previous years saw Guests leaving with high-end Take-Home Goodies. Above this, several noted the lack of actual Movie Stars attending the Party filled with Actors working on local productions including the Cast of Nikita, Rookie Blue, Defiance, The F Word and more.
Spotted arriving this year at the Windsor Arms Hotel event include the likes of Lyndsy Fonseca, Shane West, Abbie Cornish, Jason Bateman, Jeremy Irvine, Paula Patton, Eli Roth and several more. Although Fans were pleased nonetheless to get up-close and personal to these Stars, several could not help but feel disappointed at this year’s turnout and the lack of Movie Stars versus what should be a celebration of the Stars of Cinema.

The King and I, indeed. Lord of the Rings Star Viggo Mortensen was has enjoyed an extended stay in Toronto for TIFF 2012 and just left earlier today after promoting two Films here: On the Road (alongside Kristen Stewart) and Everybody Has a Plan. Mortensen who never has been shy about his love for Canada, was seen chatting on the Patio of his Hotel before coming over for a quick Snap. Honour.

Things like this just break my heart. Marisa Tomei always has been one of my favourite Actresses and it saddens me that she has a reputation as a Celebrity who doesn’t often take Photos or sign Autographs for Fans. My chance came today to ask for a Photo at the Roy Thomson Hall Premiere for Inescapable and after agreeing to it after seeing my excitment, I snapped a moment late and what results is this! At least I have the memory of meeting her. Stunning!
Tomei is brilliant in Inescapable as a Syrian Woman. Read my Review of the Film here.

Losing my mind here! Kristin Scott Thomas is one of my favourite Actresses of all time and it was such an honour to spot her earlier today just as she was about the head-out and fly home to France. She is in-town for François Ozon‘s latest, In the House. Although I threw over a subtle wave at her, catching her attention. She remained low-key, waiting right until the final moment to come by for a Snap. Slayed!

The gorgeous and talented Paula Patton is just about as wonderful in-person as you’d imagine in real life. Although her Star has risen only of late, things are going rather well with her being said to be attached to the next installment of the Mission Impossible Franchise after a successful turn in Ghost Protocol. Despite being in a rush to head to Dinner (unfortunately Husband Robin Thicke wasn’t here today) she still was lovely enough to come over for a quick Snap. She is absolutely stunning! Unfortunate that Husband Robin Thicke wasn’t around today.
