All natural and ethical, Leaves of Trees is a Toronto-based Natural Skin Care Company, many of which its Products are Moroccan Argan Oil-based. What is Argan Oil, you ask? It is a non-greasy Oil which comes from Argan Tree Nuts, ground without using harmful chemicals. Leaves of Trees’ Argan Oil is certified organic and also from a Women’s Co-operative along the Atlantic Coast of Morocco. Selection of Products include actual Argan Oil, Soaps, Lotions, Deodorants and Lip Balms.
I discovered Leaves of Trees’ Products at George Stroumboulopoulos’ Made in Canada Gifting Lounge at TIFF and it’s been a Love Connection ever since. I love their elegant Argan Oil because like many of you, I dislike heavy, greasy lotions which are almost required in this persistently cold Winter we’re having here in Toronto. A little goes a long way and I don’t feel like I’ve put anything on. I prefer their non-scented Argan Oil and I can tell you the 30 seconds it takes to apply it after a shower is well worth it since it provides a day full of moisturizing. You can put it on your body, face and even hair!
I want my Readers to discover Argan Oil from Leaves of Trees. Above this, I also want you to discover their Lotions and Lip Balms too. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Guy or Girl. Flaky or greasy skin is unacceptable regardless of gender. Keeping your skin hydrated is important to looking and feeling young – one of my most treasured Philosophies in life.
Mr. Will Readers will get an amazing opportunity to win a Leaves of Trees Prize Pack including a 100 ml Bottle of Unscented Argan Oil, Hand & Body Lotion and Lip Balm, a $60 CAN value.

Two-time Primetime EMMY Award Winner Aaron Paul descended upon Toronto tonight, but certainly not without a hitch. The Actor known best for his work as Jesse Pinkman on recent Golden Globe-winning AMC Series Breaking Bad is in the City to promote NEED FOR SPEED, a high-octane Car Racing-Action/Drama based on the Video Games of the same name.
Paul got his big break starring in popular HBO Series Big Love as Scott Quittman, but success has been long in the making for the Idaho-born Star, whose Acting Credits date all the way back to 1998 including the original Beverly Hills, 90210.
After enjoying a weekend of Super Bowl Festivities in New Jersey, the Actor found himself stranded in New York City today awaiting a flight out, but after several flights were cancelled due to a crippling Snow Storm, he decidedly would not disappoint his Toronto Fans – some who travelled five hours to see him only to learn of his missing a Special Appearance at the Movie. Director Scott Waugh however, fielded questions from the Audience in Aaron‘s absence.
In lieu of the circumstances though, the Film’s Canadian Distributor, DreamWorks Pictures, had rescheduled a Surprise Screening for tomorrow night to make it up to Paul‘s ardent Supporters. Although they are unable to guarantee his appearance, there is a possibility of him making it out to face his Fans.
The Actor was amazingly nice to Fans upon arrival despite expressing a bit of fatigue and even signed a Photo for you Wongsters! He has an early start to his day tomorrow with a day lined full of Television appearances including George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, CP24 Breakfast and Canada AM.
The Actor next stars in Sir Ridley Scott‘s Biblical Drama EXODUS, currently in post-production.
In case you haven’t yet seen the Trailer for NEED TO SPEED, it is a must that you see it below. Betrayal. Friendship. Revenge. Fast Cars. What more could one ask for?

Stunning 23-year-old Australian Actress Caitlin Stasey certainly is a Star on-the-rise, her new TV Series REIGN, recently winning the People’s Choice Award for Favourite New TV Drama. The Toronto-filmed historical Fiction Series which currently airs on M3 in Canada and The CW in the U.S. has her starring as Kenna, Lady-in-Waiting to Mary, Queen of Scots. The Series continues to film in the City till April.
In addition to REIGN, Stasey recently was seen in Box Office Top Ten-charting I, Frankenstein, currently in theatres. She got her big break on Australia’s long-running Soap, Neighbours!
Our Friends at The Xtra Mile were quick to spot Stasey who was connecting to Toronto after several cancelled flights leaving New York City. And despite the long delays, she was absolutely beautiful and sweet in her Fur Jacket, hair in bun!

One of my favourite Films at TIFF ’13 undoubtedly was John Curran‘s Tracks. The scenic Drama based on the true experiences of Robyn Davidson. My Review here.
Official Synopsis:
Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland, The Kids Are All Right) stars in the astonishing True Story of Robyn Davidson, who set out on a solo 2,700-kilometre journey by foot across the Australian Outback in 1977. She ultimately wrote about her desert adventure in 1980 in the travelogue Tracks, which has now been beautifully adapted by Director John Curran (The Painted Veil). GIRLS’ Adam Driver also stars.
NOW Magazine and Mongrel Media are hosting a Free Screening tomorrow night in celebration of the Publication’s THINK FREE Issue! Details here.
Tickets will be available at the BLOOR CINEMA in Toronto after 8:45 PM tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 4, 2014.

DreamWorks Pictures and Mr. Will Wong want to take Toronto Readers to a super-exciting Thrill Ride to an Advance Screening of NEED FOR SPEED, the latest from Director Scott Waugh, starring red-hot Aaron Paul. Although there are no guarantees, there is the possibility Talent may be in attendance. Maybe!
This ultra-special Screening is set to take place tomorrow night, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Scotiabank Theatre, 7:00 PM.
Official Synopsis:
NEED FOR SPEED centers around Tobey Marshall (Aaron Paul), a blue-collar Mechanic who races Muscle Cars on the side in an unsanctioned Street-Racing Circuit. Struggling to keep his Family-owned Garage afloat, he reluctantly partners with the wealthy and arrogant ex-NASCAR Driver Dino Brewster (Dominic Cooper). But just as a major sale to Car Broker Julia Bonet (Imogen Poots) looks like it will save Tobey‘s Shop, a disastrous race allows Dino to frame Tobey for a crime he didn’t commit, and sending Tobey to prison while Dino expands his Business out west.
Two years later, Tobey is released and set on revenge — but he knows his only chance to take down his rival Dino is to defeat him in the high-stakes race known as De Leon — the Super Bowl of Underground Racing. However to get there in time, Tobey will have to run a high-octane, action-packed Gauntlet that includes dodging pursuing Cops coast-to-coast as well as contending with a dangerous bounty Dino has put out on his Car. With the help of his loyal Crew and the surprisingly resourceful Julia, Tobey defies odds at every turn and proves that even in the flashy world of exotic Supercars, the Underdog can still finish first.

Although there certainly wasn’t much of a Match at tonight’s NFL Super Bowl XLVIII with the Underdog Seattle Seahawks demolishing the Denver Broncos, the Halftime Show and Commercials certainly is where the Spectacle was at. There were fireworks, horns, dancing, flames, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and lots of screaming! Bruno Mars sure knows how to deliver a bang-on Show and those of you who’ve never been to one of his Live Shows, don’t know what you’re missing. He sounds just as great on record as he does in-person and possesses an electric energy about him.
100 million+ tuned-in tonight to see the Hawaii-born Singer/Songwriter, who appeared on-stage aggressively banging on a Drum Kit, as he and his Band zipped through an array of Hits including: Grenade, Locked Out of Heaven, Treasure, Just the Way You Are. Mid-way, they were joined by The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Frontman Anthony Kiedis, performing their Smash, Give it Away Now.
