Ahead of May the 4th, fan-favourite Paul Sun-Hyung Lee we’re sharing an exclusive first-look interview clip from next week’s episode of the Murdoch Mysteries Podcast. Lee is beloved in both the Star Wars universe and Murdoch Mysteries.
The full episode drops this Monday, May 4th on Youtube, Spotify, Apple, Amazon and iHeart.
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is reflecting on the “responsibility” he feels playing Captain Carson Teva.
The actor portrays the X-wing pilot in the Star Wars universe, appearing in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka.
“He’s grounded, he’s authentic, he’s just trying to make his way in the universe,” Paul shared, while appearing on the newly launched Murdoch Mysteries Podcast hosted by Jason Mewes and Matt Goehring.
“But also, the meta version of it is like, he’s a fan and fans love that a fan got in, and I take that responsibly as well. That’s a big responsibility, like I have to represent fandom now.”
Paul, who is a member of the 501st Canadian Garrison, added, “People always say, ‘You must be tired!’ But I’m never tired of talking about my experience or sharing it because people live vicariously through me and I feel really lucky.”
Paul also stars as Inspector Albert Choi on the long-running detective drama series, Murdoch Mysteries.
