Hollywood Suite is pleased to announce the fourth season of its fan-favourite original series, Cinema A to Z. Premiering in September 2026, the new season features four all-new installments: Party!, Sports, Creature Features, and Witches. Experts tackling these topics include Andrea Subissati (Rue Morgue), Justin Decloux and Will Sloan (The Important Cinema Club podcast), film critics Adam Nayman, Anthony Oliveira and Radheyan Simonpillai, as well as members of the Hollywood Suite team, including Cam Maitland, Alicia Fletcher, and Emily Gagne.
The new season starts on September 17 with the invite of the century: Cinema A to Z: Party! From co-ed ragers like Animal House, Old School, and Spring Breakers and school’s-out celebrations like Booksmart and Dazed and Confused, to adult party hijinks in The Wolf of Wall Street and The Great Gatsby, cinematic bacchanals unite party animals and wallflowers alike.
Teamwork makes the dream work when it comes to Cinema A to Z: Sports, premiering on September 24. From home runs (Field of Dreams, A League of Their Own, Moneyball) to touchdowns (Any Given Sunday, Jerry Maguire), hole-in-ones (Caddyshack) to slam dunks (He Got Game), and everything in between, we close the season with 26 sports movie classics to cheer on underdogs and top dogs.
Cinema A to Z: Creature Features tells tales of apex predators and household pets with a taste for blood, premiering October 1. The episode examines our enduring fascination with the uncanny, featuring cinematic creatures from Steven Spielberg’s classic Jaws and James Cameron’s aquatic exploitation film Piranha 2 to Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds and Jordan Peele’s Nope.
The season ends with a countdown to spooky season with Cinema A to Z: Witches on October 8. From the silent era, to Italian giallo, to contemporary arthouse hits, the occult on film is a transfixing phenomenon. Whether it’s an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, one of Miyazaki’s beloved pint-sized witches, sinister neighbours in Rosemary’s Baby, or even pop icon Madonna in Four Rooms, the episode conjures up the very best of the cinematic dark arts.
“Every season, we get to dive into a whole new set of movies, and that’s what makes Cinema A to Z so much fun,” said Scott McInnes, Director. ”The series offers an entertaining look at the films that have shaped cinema and culture, with contributors bringing their deep insight and knowledge to each topic. We had a great time putting this season together, and I’m excited for audiences to see what we’ve come up with.”
