Beginning at 3:00 p.m., guests will be welcomed to explore Littlejohn Farm and visit individual chef-hosted tasting stations located throughout the property. At each station, a guest chef will present a specially curated canapé made with ingredients harvested from the farm.
The experience will give guests an opportunity to meet the chefs, learn about their approaches to cooking and discover how each interprets Ontario’s summer harvest.
Signature cocktails featuring Valley of Mother of God Gin will be created and served by Lyla’s head bartender and bar manager Walter Reis, as well as still and sparkling water generously provided by San Pellegrino. Guests may also relax in lounge areas throughout the property and take part in guided farm tours offering a closer look at the fields, gardens and landscape behind the celebration.
The event will culminate in a family-style seated dinner prepared by Littlejohn Farm owner and chef Zach Littlejohn. The harvest feast will centre on roast chicken and piglet, accompanied by seasonal sides, and wine pairings from Closson Chase.
Several dishes will be developed in collaboration with the participating chefs, including a creation from Jon Rennie of Odd Duck and Heyden Sin of Lai Wah Heen that draws inspiration from both Canadian and Cantonese culinary traditions, as well as further collaborations to be announced.
Rooted in exceptional Canadian ingredients, the menu will bring together influences from Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Italian and contemporary Canadian cuisines. The event celebrates the connection between Ontario’s farmers and chefs, demonstrating how collaboration across diverse culinary backgrounds can elevate the harvest while remaining deeply connected to the land.
