We don’t believe the Festival’s about to wrap! What a year it was with lots of amazing new memories created. We admit with the first weekend of the Festival being so frenetic, it really came down to being everywhere all at once. And everywhere we were. And if it weren’t that way, would it be TIFF? Exactly.
Just highlighting some amazing moments for us at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival this year, all taken on the Samsung S22.
I have never seen a crowd outside TIFF Bell Lightbox like the many fans who crowded Widmer Street for a chance to see their Queen. Sadie Sink, at the Festival for “The Whale” also made a surprise appearance. She also stars in the Video for “All Too Well”, presented in 35mm at the Festival.
HARRY STYLES AT THE PREMIERE OF “MY POLICEMAN”
Megastar Harry Styles took a moment out of his busy touring schedule to make an appearance at the Premiere of Michael Grandage’s “My Policeman”, which moved many to tears.
BRENDAN FRASER AT THE PREMIERE OF “THE WHALE”
Name a bigger comeback than this! Brendan Fraser gets plenty of audience love at the Premiere of Darren Aronofsky’s “The Whale”. He is going all the way with this. Such an incredible film.
TILDA SWINTON AT TIFF FOR “THE ETERNAL DAUGHTER”
She’s definitely a favourite not only because she is so immensely-talented, but she also is just a wonderful person. Always calm, cool energy from Tilda! And “The Eternal Daughter” is sublime. This is the latest in Joanna Hogg’s “The Souvenir” series of films. This Film made me want to hug my Mom!
DANIEL RADCLIFFE AT THE PREMIERE OF “WEIRD”
Daniel Radcliffe at the Midnight Madness Premiere of WEIRD, the story of Weird Al Yankovic. Loved the Weird Al dancers, a perfect quirky touch! I LOVE ROCKY ROAD!
VIOLA DAVIS & THE CAST OF “THE WOMAN KING”
Viola Davis came to conquer and she did. Shortly after THE WOMAN KING’S Premiere at TIFF ’22, it went-on to take top spot in its debut on the Box Office. TIFF works!
OLIVIA COLMAN AT TIFF FOR “EMPIRE OF LIGHT”
The brilliant Olivia Colman finally made it to Toronto for Sam Mendes’ “Empire of Light”. A class act. And how timely, with news of Queen Elizabeth’s passing.
CLAIRE FOY AT THE PREMIERE FOR “WOMEN TALKING”
Claire Foy is just one member of the phenomenal Ensemble in Sarah Polley’s “Women Talking”. Again, a timely visit with news of the Queen leaving us. The Film was first runner-up for People’s Choice Award, which is just a taste of some of the success it should have this Awards Season. Here Foy is with my sweet girl, beanie who charmed her.
BILL NIGHY AT TIFF WITH “LIVING”
Adored Thespian Bill Nighy getting tons of buzz for his work in “Living”. He is and always has been amazing.
PAUL MESCAL AT TIFF FOR “CARMEN” AND “AFTERSUN”
Paul Mescal is coming out of TIFF ’22 with plenty of traction, garnering so much acclaim for his work in “Aftersun” and also working with first-time Feature Director Benjamin Millepied (husband of Natalie Portman) on “Carmen”. His star is rising quickly.
GABRIEL LABELLE AT TIFF FOR “THE FABELMANS”
Another big emerging name out of TIFF ’22 is Gabriel Labelle who stars in Steven Spielberg’s autobiographical “The Fabelmans”, which took the People’s Choice Award.
HUGH JACKMAN AT TIFF FOR “THE SON”
Are we ever not happy to see Hugh? Though Florian Zeller’s “The Son” proved a bit divisive, one thing’s for sure, Hugh is getting raves for his performance.
LILY TOMLIN AT TIFF FOR “MOVING ON”
Comedic icon Lily Tomlin makes a rare appearance at TIFF with “Moving On”! We’re a bit sad her Co-Star Jane Fonda couldn’t make it out this year, but are thinking of her.
NICOLAS CAGE AT TIFF FOR “BUTCHER’S CROSSING”
Just ’cause…
BILLY EICHNER AT TIFF FOR “BROS”
The “Billy on the Street” Funnyman is having a real moment with “BROS”, which premiered to accolades at the Festival. The groundbreaking Rom-Com is set to open shortly in theatres.
MIA GOTH AT TIFF FOR “PEARL”
Do not snooze on this brilliant Actress. She reprises her titular role “Pearl”, in this latest from Ti West. Thrilled to know West is making this a Trilogy with another film to come next year.
SADIE SINK AT TIFF FOR “THE WHALE”
Mark my words, Sadie Sink is going to be a huge star soon. She slays her performance as angsty Ellie in “The Whale”. We can’t stop thinking about it.
HARRIS DICKINSON AT TIFF FOR “TRIANGLE OF SADNESS”
Harris Dickinson is yet another emerging name, coming out of the Festival with a lot of chatter. Ruben n Östlund’s “Triange of Sadness” is quirky, enaging storytelling and we are so sad his Co-Star Charlbi Dean passed shortly before the Festival, leaving us with a mesmerizing performance to remember her by.
LEE JUNG-JAE AT THE PREMIERE OF “HUNT”
This Korean megastar whom we all know from “Squid Game” makes his directorial debut at the Festival with “HUNT”. Such an honour getting to speak with him.

JESSICA CHASTAIN AT TIFF FOR “THE GOOD NURSE”
We will never grow tired of the nicest star in Hollywood. Jessica Chastain back at TIFF with “The Good Nurse”, which was in the running for People’s Choice. Always gracious, sweet and kind. Adore her and proud of her Oscar win. She was at TIFF ’21 launching her awards campaign at with “The Eyes of Tammy Faye”, proof that TIFF matters in the big picture.
LAMAR JOHNSON AT TIFF PREMIERE OF “BROTHER”
Audiences loved Clement Virgo’s “Brother” which represented Canada well at the Festival. Star Lamar Johnson here celebrating at his Film’s afterparty.
SIR BEN KINGSLEY AT TIFF FOR CLOSING NIGHT GALA, “DALILAND”
Always an honour being in Sir Ben’s presence. He’s closing-out the Festival with Mary Harron’s “Daliland”, and actually stayed the entire duration of TIFF ’22.
