Synopsis:
A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all.
Cast as members of the different musical tribes is one of the largest, and most acclaimed, groups of musical talent ever assembled for an animated film. From the land of Funk are Mary J. Blige, George Clinton and Anderson .Paak. Representing Country is Kelly Clarkson as Delta Dawn, with Sam Rockwell as Hickory and Flula Borg as Dickory. J Balvin brings Reggaeton, while Ester Dean adds to the Pop tribe. Anthony Ramos brings the beat in Techno and Jamie Dornan covers smooth jazz. World-renowned conductor and violinist Gustavo Dudamel appears as Trollzart and Charlyne Yi as Pennywhistle from the land of Classical. And Kenan Thompson raps as a newborn Troll named Tiny Diamond.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM is much the best at the Box Office this weekend, debuting with $76 million for Warner Bros. in 4,144 theatres across North America. Penned by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling and directed by Potter director David Yates, this first installment in the Franchise fares well critically with an 76% on the Tomatometer and an A CinemaScore, boding well for some word of mouth. Some are concerned these numbers are not strong enough to propel a Franchise, although we think they are just being diffficult! We mustn’t forget the international appeal of Rowling…
In second is 20th Century Fox‘s TROLLS with $16.9 million in its third week, totalling $115 million in its domestic run.
DOCTOR STRANGE finds itself in third with $16.3 million for Marvel/Disney in its third week, bringing its tally to $180.6 million for the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring superhero flick.
ARRIVAL lands in fourth with $11.2 million for Paramount Pictures, bringing the Oscar contender’s two-week total to $42.8 million.
HACKSAW RIDGE is in sixth with $6.4 million in its third week, a total of $42.5 million grossed for Elevation Pictures/Lionsgate Films.
THE EDGE OF SEVENTEEN opens in eighth for STX Entertainment/VVS Films with $4.8 million from 1,945 theatres. The TIFF ’16 selection and coming-of-age Dramedy starring Oscar nominee and Popstar Hailee Steinfeld, gets a whopping 95% on the Tomatometer and an A-CinemaScore.
SHUT IN rounds-out the Top Ten with $1.6 million in its second week out for EuropaCorp and VVS Films.
For a second straight week, DOCTOR STRANGE holds the top spot at the Box Office for Marvel/Disney with $43 million from 3,882 theatres. Over two weeks, the Blockbuster starring Benedict Cumberbatch has grossed $153 million in North America alone.
In second spot is 20th Century Fox‘s TROLLS with $34.8 million from 4,066 theatres. Over two weeks it has made $93.7 million domestically.
ARRIVAL debuts in third spot for Paramount Pictures with a solid $23.4 million. Debuting at TIFF ’16 and starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, the Denis Villeneuve Film gets a strong 93% on the Tomatometer and a B CinemaScore.
ALMOST CHRISTMAS debuts in fourth for Universal Pictures with $15.3 million from 2,376 theatres. It gets 44% on the Tomatometer from Critics and inversely an A- CinemaScore from Audiences.
The Horror SHUT IN starring Naomi Watts debuts in seventh for EuropaCorp. with $3.8 million from 2,886 theatres. It gets 0% on the Tomatometer and a C CinemaScore.
INFERNO rounds out the Top Ten with $3.2 million for Sony Pictures. In three weeks it has made $31 million in North America.

Synopsis:
The overly optimistic Trolls live in a colorful, wondrous world full of song and dance. But their lives of rainbows and happiness are changed forever when the Troll-hungry Bergens invade their colorful Troll Village.
Poppy (Anna Kendrick), the bright and sunny leader of the Trolls, must set off on a journey to save the town along with her polar opposite, the overly pessimistic Branch (Justin Timberlake). The mismatched duo are taken far beyond the only world they’ve ever known, and must tolerate each other long enough to get their job done.
