#SPOTTED: ALLAN HAWCO AND JOSÉPHINE JOBERT IN TORONTO FOR “SAINT-PIERRE”
Delighted to attend a special screening of upcoming CBC series SAINT-PIERRE! This mark’s Allan Hawco‘s return, not only as an Actor, but he is produces, writes, and is a showrunner. The series centers on Inspector Donny Fitzgerald (Hawco) who is exiled to the remote territory of Saint-Pierre after a scandal. As he heals his heartbreak, he gets paired-up with Deputy Chief Geneviève Archambault (Joséphine Jobert). While the two have conflicting styles, this guarantees Comedy while they solve some very exciting crimes!
Both Hawco and Jobert attended a special screening at Norm Jewison Cinema in Hazelton Hotel, speaking with CBC‘s Tom Power about their experience making what looks to be a very successful show! This is Jobert‘s first time acting in English after having built a successful career in her native France. She also lived in Montreal for a duration. This has all the makings of a series that would get lots of recognition at the Canadian Screen Awards, just saying.
SAINT-PIERRE arrives January 6, 2025 9 PM ET on CBC and CBC Gem.
