Union Summer – Presented by TD returns for its ninth season,
bringing together the “Best of Toronto”, a curated snapshot of the food, music, and culture
that define the city’s iconic summers, all in one vibrant outdoor patio.
From June 8 to August 9, 2026, the Front Street Plaza will come alive and transform into a
dynamic, open-air festival in the heart of the downtown core. Inspired by the city itself, Union
Summer delivers standout talent and experiences, curating a stellar lineup from Union’s
partner festivals across the city and Union’s favourite artists in one central destination.
Alongside the entertainment, visitors can dine and discover a lineup of local favourites and
hidden gem restaurants from across the GTA in a lively patio setting, perfect for soaking up
Toronto’s summer.
“We’re thrilled to welcome visitors from near and far back to Union Summer,” says Syma
Shah, Union’s VP of Programming and Events, “Union Summer Presented by TD offers a
vibrant snapshot of Toronto, bringing together the city’s diverse food, culture, and live
entertainment in one iconic destination. Whether you’re exploring downtown for the first time
or returning to a favourite spot, it’s the perfect place to experience the best of Toronto all in
one place.”
This year, Union Summer expands its music offerings with over 120 live performances from
a wide range of musical genres, from blues and jazz to big band and contemporary music,
DJ’s and more. To kick off the festival, TD Music is presenting Choir! Choir! Choir! on June
9th, inviting everyone to sing, celebrate and join in together for the start of a great summer.
This will be book-ended by another TD-presented artist, Bambii, for the closing party on
Saturday August 8th which is sure to get everyone on the dancefloor.
“We’re so happy to welcome Union Summer Presented by TD back to Toronto,” said Michael
Armstrong, Vice President, North American Brand and Sponsorships, TD. “It’s all about
having fun in the city – as you enjoy amazing food, live music on the TD Stage, and
experience the vibrant energy of the festival.”
In addition to music, the festival celebrates Toronto’s diverse culinary scene, featuring local
food vendors, craft drinks, and artisanal treats. As one of the city’s most connected transit
hubs, Toronto’s Union is the ideal spot to meet, relax, or stop to enjoy everything from casual
bites to shareable feasts. In addition, eligible TD Cardholders get 10% off food and
non-alcoholic beverages at participating Union Summer official vendors. Visit
