Maisie Peters has released ‘My Regards’, the lead single from her recently announced new album Florescence.
After ‘You You You’, ‘Audrey Hepburn’ and ‘Say My Name In Your Sleep’, ‘My Regards’ offers a fresh taste of Florescence, with Maisie embracing her power, claiming her man, and radiating the assured glow of being truly loved – from her boyfriend’s bedroom.
“My Regards feels powerful, tongue in cheek, sexy and funny, all of which I feel are parts of myself I hadn’t really gotten to explore much musically up until this album!,” explains Maisie. “I was inspired by a lot of the country greats and their ‘stand by your man songs’, and so I thought I’d write my own modern day version; however in this song I get to play the role of fierce protector instead of simpering love interest, which is so often how women have been depicted in relationships throughout history.”
Inspired by the lyric “call me Kevin Costner the way I’m guarding his body,” Maisie teamed up with Amelia Dimoldenberg for her music video directorial debut, putting a modern spin on the 1992 classic The Bodyguard. Playing with the song’s subversive nature, Maisie steps into the role of a security guard protecting a movie star, played by Overcompensating creator and star Benito Skinner. Watch here.
“Directing this music video for Maisie has been an absolute joy,” shares Amelia. “From the moment I heard the track, I knew we had to lean into her gift for storytelling. I thought it would be interesting to subvert the ‘possessive girlfriend’ trope by making Maisie a literal bodyguard. It felt like a fun way to heighten the narrative.”
Arriving on 15 May, Florescence is co-produced with 2x Grammy Winner Ian Fitchuck. Featuring collaborations with Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford, the record is a meditation on how the right love can help heal the wrong ones. It’s an album about perspective, self-realisation, healing, and ultimately, learning how to flourish.
Maisie will embark on a new run of global ‘Before The Bloom’ theatre dates on 1 March at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, the tour will travel through Australia, East Asia, Europe, the UK, America, and Canada – see the full itinerary below, and access ticket here. Maisie has partnered with PLUS1 so that £1.20 (or local equivalent) per ticket goes to supporting organisations working for equity, access, and dignity for all.

About Ameila Dimoldenberg
Host, writer, and producer Amelia Dimoldenberg has spent over a decade building a massive global following across her platforms with her unique comedic approach and engaging content. She is the creative mind behind the wildly popular series, ‘Chicken Shop Date’; the show has redefined the celebrity interview with Dimoldenberg’s awkward charm and is commissioned under her own production company, Dimz, Inc. In recent years, she has been honored on various stages, including the Streamys and the Webbys, for her role as a trailblazer within the changing media landscape. This year, Amelia will mark three consecutive years as the Red-Carpet Correspondent for the Academy Awards (2024, 2025 and 2026.) In August of last year, she further expanded her company initiatives with the launch of Dimz Inc. Academy, a program which aims to ensure young people from all backgrounds have access to the creative media industries.
Maisie Peters has announced her much-anticipated third studio album, Florescence. Co-produced with 2x Grammy Award winner Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Beyoncé, Chris Stapleton) and featuring duets with Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford, the album arrives two years after her chart-topping breakthrough The Good Witch. Florescence arrives on Friday 15 May and is available to pre-order now, alongside a trailer directed by Amelia Dimoldenberg.
After a whirlwind few years that saw Maisie open for Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Conan Gray, and Noah Kahan, headline her own world tours, and make her Glastonbury debut, she found herself almost constantly on the road. By the end of 2024, the pace had become unsustainable, affecting Maisie physically and mentally, and so she made the decision to step back – pressing pause on the popstar carousel and returning home to reconnect with her life offstage. That quieter chapter gave her space to reset, grounding her not just as a person, but as an artist. It was during this time that the emotional heart of Florescence quietly took shape.
That return to herself was reflected not only in her life, but in the music. Led by her love of storytelling, Maisie headed to Nashville, where she wrote and recorded much of the album. Reuniting with longtime collaborator Ian Fitchuk – whom she first worked with in 2020 – felt like a natural fit. Together, they crafted the album’s warm, textured sound, with Fitchuk supporting Maisie as she stepped into the role of co-producer for the first time.
Drawing from the aftermath of the relationship explored on The Good Witch, as well as the love story she’s now living – having fallen in love with her high school sweetheart – Florescence reflects on how the right love can help heal the wrong ones. It’s an album about perspective, self-realisation, healing, and ultimately, learning how to flourish.
“These 15 tracks depict a blossoming of myself from ages 23 to 25 and a blossoming of a true, real love that anchors both me and this record. It tells the story of the last few long winters, with all of their villains and thorns, heartbreaks and rains, and it leads you, by the end, into a perfect English spring, into the hope and catharsis that comes when the first wildflower blooms,” shares Maisie. “This album feels like a true representation of healing, of finding hope, peace, and strength not just in somebody else, but in yourself. It is knowing that there was a point to all the sadness of before, and the point is the woman you see in this mirror now, and the person you see by her side.”
Fresh from her intimate, instantly sold-out shows in London and New York, Maisie is marking the album announcement with a new run of global ‘Before The Bloom’ theatre dates, designed to mirror Florescence’s closeness and vulnerability. Kicking off on 2 March at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, the tour will travel through Australia, East Asia, Europe, the UK, America, and Canada – see the full itinerary below, and access ticket here.
Stay tuned for Maisie’s new single, ‘My Regards’, out Friday 6 February.

Chart-topping British singer-songwriter Maisie Peters has returned, unveiling two brand new singles – ‘You You You’ and ‘Audrey Hepburn’ – out now via Gingerbread Man Records/Atlantic Records. Listen HERE.
The singles land as Maisie’s first new music since headlining Wembley Arena, opening The Eras Tour, and becoming the youngest solo British female artist in almost a decade to bag a debut UK No.1 album (‘The Good Witch’) back in 2023.
Signalling the next chapter of Maisie’s already storied young career, ‘You You You’ and ‘Audrey Hepburn’ offer a first glimpse into the world of her much-anticipated, soon-to-be-announced and third studio album.
“Audrey Hepburn is a song that for me defines this album, and my life in recent times”, Maisie explains. “It’s about how love gave me an inner peace, calm, strength and confidence, a safe place and an escape from the mania of my life in the last few years. You You You is about the darkest trench of my last heartbreak, a song I wrote very much in retrospect, thinking about how consumed I was by that sadness, something I could have only seen truly in hindsight. I wrote You You You in the beginning stages of the truest love of my life so far (the Audrey love) so these songs, whilst tonally are so different, feel so connected in so many ways. Neither could have existed without the other, so I’m so glad everyone is getting to experience them at the same time.”
To mark her comeback, Maisie will take the stage for two intimate shows at EartH Hackney over the next few days, with the first show pencilled in for tonight, 9th October, and the second tomorrow. Announced just last week, both performances sold out immediately.
Stay tuned for more Maisie news over the coming weeks, and see below credits for ‘You You You’ and ‘Audrey Hepburn’.

Maisie Peters is back with her brand new single, ‘Body Better’ – the first from her soon to be announced new album – out now via Gingerbread Man Records/Asylum. Listen HERE. Peters will be supporting Ed Sheeran on his upcoming Mathematics Tour!
Written by Maisie, alongside Ines Dunn (Griff, Mimi Webb) and producer Matias Téllez (girl in red, AURORA), ‘Body Better’ brims with more candour and vulnerability than ever before, showcasing the evolution of Maisie’s acclaimed diary-style songwriting to serve as a fitting entry point to the new record.
“Body Better is one of the most honest songs I’ve ever released, and definitely the most personal”, Maisie shares. “I wrote it after a breakup and it deals with the ugly things you think to yourself in the aftermath, when you’re painstakingly going through everything small thing you did and were and wondering what you could have changed. It’s a song about insecurity and vulnerability, about giving a lot of yourself away to someone who decides they don’t want it anymore, and knowing where to go from there.”
With 20,000 tickets sold across the UK and Europe this spring, Maisie is now set to perform her biggest shows to date, including Eventim Apollo on 27th April (which sold out in just an hour), a headline slot at Liverpool’s Sound City on 30th April and a homecoming show at Brighton Dome as part of The Great Escape Festival on 12th May, where – alongside Arlo Parks – she’s confirmed as one of the two 2023 Spotlight Shows.
