Hot off news of LANDMAN‘s third season renewal, Paramount+ Canada threw a festive bash for the Holidays featuring Series breakout star Michelle Randolph, at Steam Whistle Event Space. Randolph plays the fun and free-spirited Ainsley on the Series, the daughter of Tommy (Billy Bob Thornton) and Angela (Ali Larter).

The Series reunites Randolph with LANDMAN Co-CreatorTaylor Sheridan, after having worked together previously on acclaimed series 1923. The Texas-set Series see the rise of a landman named Tommy amidst a big oil boom that is about to change the shape of the climate and economy. Not only is it achieving ratings records, its popularity is also booming just like the oil industry in which the Series is focussed, with views growing +262% since season one. And yes, a season three is on the way.

We got to chat with Randolph about her experience working on the Series including filming some of the season’s most memorable scenes, plus Ainsley‘s own character journey as a cheerleader at a new school, and what she hopes viewers will take away. Her appearance at a special Paramount+ Canada Holiday Event, hosted at Steam Whistle Brewery, capped-off a busy day of Press which saw her do the morning television and radio rounds, before walking the Red Carpet and doing a Q&A with Torri Webster.

Paramount+ announced today that the hit original series LANDMAN has been renewed for a third season.

The second season of LANDMAN premiered on Sunday, November 16th, and is set to be a top three series among all original content the week of November 17th and a top two series for the week of November 24th according to Nielsen preliminary data.

From co-creator Taylor Sheridan, season two also struck viewership records for Paramount+, achieving over 9.2 Million streaming views for its premiere episode in the first two days on service. Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+. New episodes debut exclusively on Paramount+ each Sunday.

The second season premiere of LANDMAN, from co-creator Taylor Sheridan, has struck viewership records achieving over 9.2 million streaming views for its premiere episode in the first two days since its exclusive debut on Paramount+ on November 16, 2025.

Views increased by +262% from the first season premiere, making it the most watched premiere for any original series for Paramount+.

The streamer also saw an uptick in season 1 sampling with an +320% increase in views since the second season debuted on Sunday.

On social, LANDMAN was also the #1 premiere across streaming shows on 11/16/25 with 255.6K total interactions, a +489% increase vs. the S1 premiere on 11/17/24.

The new season has received critical acclaim, including The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette calling it “Taylor Sheridan’s best,” The Times (UK) noting “Thornton’s wonderfully crafted performance,” and Collider citing that Demi Moore is “excellent…A breath of fresh air.”
