Disney+ revealed the release date for the new Disney+ Original unscripted documentary series “Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1© Story”, a remarkable tale of success against adversity for the £1 Formula 1© racing team. The series will premiere on November 15 on Disney+.
The series stars Keanu Reeves (“John Wick” and “The Matrix Resurrections”)as host and executive producer, in addition to Formula 1© legends Ross Brawn, Jenson Button, Nick Fry, Rubens Barrichello and Christian Horner. The unscripted documentary series hosted by Keanu Reeves tells the remarkable story of how Ross Brawn, in 2009, competing in the most expensive and technologically advanced racing series on Earth, made the impossible happen. His understaffed, underfinanced, and independent team won the World Championship taking on the biggest titans of the industry – all after purchasing the team for just £1.
Go behind the scenes of this Formula 1© fairy tale with the people who were there – on the track, in the garage and the boardroom – giving their own recounts of this miraculous year. With access to the F1 archives – much of it previously unseen – this series brings you along for the ride to victory, led by British F1 driver Jenson Button and Ross Brawn.
This series is a North One production developed, written and produced by showrunner Simon Hammerson with three-time BAFTA-winning executive producer Neil Duncanson and directed by 2022 Broadcast best sports documentary winner Daryl Goodrich, with Keanu Reeves as host and executive producer.
All episodes of “Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1© Story” will be available on Disney+ on November 15, 2023.

The Neo and Trinity Come Home contest encourages fans to locate and scan film-branded QR codes in their city, which will lead them to an exclusive message from the cast of “The Matrix Resurrections,” who will inform the user that they’ve found a “rabbit hole” and can now enter to win a trip to the premiere. The QR codes can be found at local businesses in major cities across the country, including Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver (detailed list of participating businesses can be found below). Participating businesses will offer special film-themed items and experiences between now and the release of “The Matrix Resurrections” on December 22.
Select fans may be fortunate enough to spot the QR codes dominating the walls of buildings in downtown Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, and Calgary via digital projections. “The Matrix Resurrections” QR codes will also appear in GameStop Canada locations from coast-to-coast.
From November 26 to December 5, the contest will be open for Canadians to enter to win two flights, accommodation, and tickets to the premiere. In total, there will be seven contest winners outside the Greater Toronto Area (one from each of the above-mentioned cities) that will win a trip to the premiere and 25 winners closer to Toronto that will each receive a pair of tickets to the exclusive event. Once the first contest has closed on December 5, fans across the country are still able to scan the QR codes until December 20 and enter to win passes to see “The Matrix Resurrections” in IMAX at participating Cineplex locations when the film debuts on the 22nd.
