Few in 2014 took the World by storm like Hozier. The 24-year-old Irish Singer/Songwriter gained prominence internationally with his smash hit Take Me To Church which would go on to receive a Grammy nomination. His performance on the televised Awards Ceremony alongside Annie Lennox, solidified him as a household name and he now is on tour in support of his eponymous debut Album.
After filling and mesmerizing Massey Hall tonight, Hozier went above and beyond after a near-two-hour Set, rewarding his many Fans waiting in the cold, bringing them backstage in groups of ten for Autographs and Pictures. The soulful and towering Singer would hunch over to accommodate his Fans, taking a minute to give that personal touch, acknowledging each by their names. An amazing Gentleman.

21-year-old English Singer-Songwriter George Ezra is rising rapidly in the world of Music and those with Tickets to see Grammy-nominated Hozier tonight at Massey Hall, were rewarded with the chance to see him as the evening’s Supporting Act. The Audience completely fell in love, giving him a standing ovation following a 30-minute Set.
Known best for his Track Budapest, Ezra is on the verge of stardom with his sights set stateside after winning a acclaim and a coveted number one Album with Wanted on Voyage in his native U.K., debuting in the Top 20 in the U.S.
We spotted Ezra on a smoke break, coming over to snap a Photo graciously and he was amazingly nice about it. He tells me he had an amazing time at Ripley’s Aquarium on a recent visit and he actually will be back in town soon again for his own headlining Tour at Danforth Music Hall on April 20, 2015.
