#NEWMUSIC: DASHA NEW SINGLE “NOT AT THIS PARTY”

Making a bold return today, RIAA Platinum certified pop-country sensation, Dasha, kickstarts her sophomore country project with a new single entitled “Not At This Party” out now via Warner Records. “‘Not At This Party’ was a title I’d been carrying around for a while,” Dasha shares. “It’s about that universal experience of being out with friends, but mentally checked out. When I wrote it with Ashley Gorley and Ben Johnson, I was going through something with a guy, and the song just flowed. We really tried to capture that mix of distraction and guilt in the song.”

Earlier today, the “Not At This Party” music video debuted on CMT, MTV and Paramount’s Times Square Billboard. It is now in rotation across CMT Channels, MTV Live, mtvU and MTV’s Biggest Pop.

In 2024, the singer landed coveted spots at country music meccas, Stagecoach, Austin City Limits, CMT Awards and CMA Fest. Her year didn’t stop there, though. She sold-out her first global headlining tour, Dashville USA, and performed on two of the biggest televised broadcasts of the year – Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve. The song went on to become one of the most-streamed country songs in 2024 and won the People’s Choice Country Awards for Female Song.

“This past year I was blown away by how many little girls were riding the rails at my shows,” Dasha says. “No one connects with perfection. For me, navigating the highs and lows of this industry means accepting that I’m going to make mistakes. This journey isn’t always going to be smooth, and the bumps along the way make for a far more interesting ride.”

Next up, she embarks on tour with Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett and Dylan Scott and is set to return to Stagecoach Music Festival in April. A full routing can be found below.

#NEWMUSIC: DASHA – “DIDN’T I”

Responding to overwhelming fan demand for more music, one of the hottest breakout stars of 2024 and pop-country sensation Dasha (pronounced DASH-uh) delivers her irresistible new song “Didn’t I” out today via Warner Records.

“‘Didn’t I’ is so nostalgic, there’s something about my past that intrigues me, including the men. In the writer’s room, I was referring to a time months and months ago when I was backsliding into the guy that ‘Austin’ is about. It’s admitting like, ‘oops here I am again, my bad’ but I love how we made it lighthearted and fun,” says Dasha.

Today’s track places Dasha’s dynamic vocals, clever songwriting, and undeniable star power directly in the spotlight. Handclaps drive the momentum as fiddle accents the bright banjo riff. On the track, Dasha just can’t seem to let go of an old fling as she confesses on the chorus, “So why am I here with your lips on mine? I could’ve sworn I said, ‘This is over. Didn’t I?’” With its cheeky storytelling and infectious melody, “Didn’t I” has all the makings of another smash from the rapidly rising phenomenon.

Simultaneously, her hit single “Austin (Boots Stop Workin’)” peaked at 3 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart and staked out a spot in the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 peaking at 19. Meanwhile, Dasha scaled the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart to #2 with her album What Happens Now? peaking at 117 on the Billboard 200.

In other big news, her extensive global headline tour Dashville, U.S.A has sold out in a majority of markets with limited ticket availability remaining in Stockholm, Amsterdam and Salt Lake City. Country Singer-Songwriter DASHA is on the verge of something big. Her current single “Austin” already has amassed 86 million streams on Spotify, propelled further by a whopping 700k videos using it on TikTok. Moving to Country is the best decision she ever could’ve made! And she’s just released her debut album, WHAT HAPPENS NOW? via Warner Music Canada.

Dasha has had a busy week, filming the Music Video for her viral hit and also appearing at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. And then her first visit ever to Toronto where she will appear at Rock ‘N’ Horse Saloon for a special appearance!
