#FIRSTLOOK: “YOUNGBLOOD” SPECIAL SCREENING AT HOCKEY HALL OF FAME

Cast and Creatives of the upcoming hockey film YOUNGBLOOD attended a community event and special advance screening in Toronto ahead of its theatrical release on Friday, March 6, 2026.

Youth hockey players from the Seaside Minor Hockey Association joined Toronto natives Hubert Davis and Ashton James for a morning of conversation and an exclusive meet and greet with NHL legend Wendel Clark.

Directed by Canadian director Hubert Davis, YOUNGBLOOD delivers a thoughtful, contemporary take on the iconic hockey story, exploring themes of ambition, identity, masculinity, and race within the sport. YOUNGBLOOD is in theatres March 6, 2026.

#SPOTTED: SHAW MEDIA ANNOUNCES 2013 FALL/MIDSEASON LINEUP AT ANNUAL UPFRONTS

Shaw Media is set to unveil their 2013 Fall and Mid-Season Lineup today at their annual Upfronts and in Toronto today are a few familiar and exciting Television Personalities!  On Global Television‘s The Morning Show not only was it unveiled that popular News Anchor Leslie Roberts would be hosting the National Edition of the increasingly-popular morning staple, but here in-town today are the likes of Blair Underwood, Daniel Dae-Kim, Ana Ortiz and Soap Legend Susan Lucci!

Ironside – The Drama Series stars Blair Underwood (Sex and the City, LAX) as Robert T. Ironside, a Police Detective relegated to a wheelchair after a shooting.  He still continues to forge ahead with a brand-new handpicked Team. It airs this Fall and also can be seen in the U.S. on NBC.

Hawaii Five-O: After three successful seasons, the CBS Series starring Scott Caan, Alex O’Loughlin, Grace Park and Daniel Dae Kim (pictured below) gets a Friday time slot this Fall at 9:00 PM.

Devious Maids: From the same Creator as Desperate Housewives comes this long-awaited Comedy about four Latina Maids and the juicy Stories they share working for Beverly Hills’ most wealthy Families.  The Series stars Roselyn Sánchez, Judy Reyes, Dania Ramirez, Ana Ortiz and of course, Susan Lucci (the latter two seen below).  I’ll have the pleasure chatting with Ortiz and Lucci later today on the delicious new Series. Stay tuned.  The Series premieres Sunday, June 23, 2013 on Lifetime Canada.

Glee: Glee Star Dot-Marie Jones (below) was spotted a couple days ago in the City and although she wasn’t specifically here for the Upfronts (she attended the Event in 2011), the Actress who is known best as Coach Shannon Beiste on the Musical-Comedy Series, was here to do good.  Read more here.  Glee airs Thursday nights at 9:00 PM this Fall.

Sightings already have been reported that Academy Award Nominee Queen Latifah, whom I had the pleasure of meeting back in 2010, is here to promote her soon-to-launch The Queen Latifah Show this Fall.
