#NEWMUSIC: “THE MAN ON THE RUN” WITH PAUL MCCARTNEY COMING TO AUDIBLE

The first bit of Wings was quite hard work and not very rewarding, but eventually we got some songs under our belts that were hits. Throughout his career, Paul McCartney has distinguished himself as one of the most celebrated musicians in history. But in 1970, when The Beatles ended, he faced his greatest challenge: starting over. In the 42nd installment of Audible’s award-winning Words + Music series, McCartney chronicles that journey through the 1970s, on a mission to trust his creative impulses, no matter where they pointed him, from depression and isolation in Scotland, to his creative rebirth with Linda McCartney, to forming Wings and achieving massive success with Band on the Run. The newly announced casting of iconic roles includes Kit Harington as Professor Lockhart; Keira Knightley as Professor Umbridge; Iwan Rheon as Professor Lupin; Ruth Wilson as Bellatrix Lestrange; Ambika Mod as Nymphadora Tonks; Leo Woodall as Bill Weasley; Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley; James McAvoy as Mad-Eye Moody; Gemma Whelan as Professor Sprout; and Matt Berry as Sir Cadogan.
