#REVIEW: “STRANGE DARLING”
Review by Amanda Gilmore for Mr. Will Wong
Strange Darling is the greatest Horror-Thriller of the year. Writer-Director J.T. Mollner has crafted an audacious and wickedly fun ride that plays with audiences’ expectations resulting in twists and surprises at every turn.
We open with a prologue that visually mirrors 1974's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. With the same tone, the voice-over reads the words as they move like credits on the screen. We learn in Oregon between 2018 and 2020 a serial ...

Review by Nicholas Porteous for Mr. Will Wong
In a distant and terrible future, a ragtag team of space outcasts board an abandoned ship to scavenge sleep pods so they can chart a course to the nearest, supposedly much more habitable planet. But in the process, they awaken the suckiest, speediest facehuggers since Aliens. #REVIEW: “THIS ENDS WITH US”
Review by Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
There are movies which target specific demographics, and they usually work within those demographics. I would like to consider myself part of the demographic that enjoys a good Romance that hits all the right notes, and maybe a little trouble thrown into the mix. It Ends With Us is bit of a cross between J-Lo’s Enough and a Nicholas Sparks movie. It deals with some very sensitive subject matter, in a nearly non- delicate way.
The Movie focuses on ...

#REVIEW: “BORDERLANDS”
By Mr. Will Wong
Fans of the Gearbox Software video game BORDERLANDS should be excited about its star-studded fillm adaptation, but it might be expecting a bit much of the general moviegoing public that knows little about the source material to be invested.
Set in a future dystopian society - Pandora - Eli Roth's BORDERLANDS is a raucous, chaotic ride with a bit of heart at its central story. This Film centers on Lilith (Cate Blanchett), a tough outlaw and bounty hunter, who's tasked with ...

#REVIEW: “THE INSTIGATORS”
Review by Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
The big thing that The Instigators has going for it, is the fact that Director Doug Liman (Road House, Edge of Tomorrow) knows well how to direct Action. Mostly, that is where the excitement for the Movie ends, which is disappointing considering its pedigree and A-list talent. And trust me, we love a good Heist movie, great set pieces and action sequences. We just expected more.
The Film focuses on two 'numbskulls' Rory and Cobby (Matt Damon and ...

#REVIEW: “THE FABULOUS FOUR”
By Mr. Will Wong
We never grow tired of the tried and true, and Jocelyn Moorhouse (Proof, The Dressmaker) is back with Comedy THE FABULOUS FOUR. We love that four female buddy trope where ladies get in trouble, hash-out their long suppressed issues and everything ends in a big celebration. This Film is no different and it's same script, different Cast. But have you seen this iconic, decorated Cast?
The story centers on introverted Lou (Susan Sarandon) who is an accomplished doctor, who ...

#REVIEW: MARVEL STUDIOS’ “DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE”
Review by Justin Waldman for Mr. Will Wong
It’s been eight years since the Merc with the mouth graced the screens in a respectable way (looking directly at Origins) and the world has never been the same, nor has Marvel. A lot has changed, which is summarized in the opening minutes of Shawn Levy’s Deadpool & Wolverine. Here, the greatest team-up that no one ever thought would be possible, is possible. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we have now entered the Mutant Era as Marvel ...

#REVIEW: “TWISTERS”
Review by Nicholas Porteous for Mr. Will Wong
In 1996, Twister firmly established that--in the context of cinema--running from (and towards) tornados, watching them suck random people into the sky, and experiencing their devastating impact on anonymous small towns will forever be fun and cool. 28 years later, Twisters takes this idea and.. does it a second time. It's not so much a sequel as a soft remake featuring some of the same tech, and a similar 'will-they-or-won't-they' romantic ...
